TheForkUserThe Sunday roast was one of the best I've ever had, the Beef was tender and the veg was soft, lots of roasts pots and parsnips, plenty of gravy and the plates were piping hot. Fabulous!
TheForkUserReally nice carvery. Good value for money. Helpful staff, but Disabled access not very good. Had to get staff to open a side door to let my husband in, as he could not negotiate the steps.
TheForkUserWas a lovely place for an evening meal/ date night. Food was gorgeous and the time between ordering and getting the food was pretty quick. Had a lush time and will 100% be going back!
_TI***0zI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at The Elder. Each dish was unique and beautifully plated, and the wine pairings were spot on. A must-visit for food lovers!
_TI***kbThe service at this restaurant is exceptional! Aimee was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.
TheForkUserVery friendly and efficient staff. Great family atmosphere. Recommended if visiting Swindon. Plenty of choices of different meats at the carvery.
_TI***0xIvy and Megan provided outstanding service during our anniversary brunch. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was wonderful, making it a perfect celebration.
_TI***fsThe restaurant offers a fantastic selection of dishes, including an impressive Indian curry and lamb shank, making it a great dining option for hotel guests.
TheForkUserWe enjoyed every course! I especially was impressed with alcohol-free matching drinks. I didn’t expect much but it was so exciting! We have been here several times and the menu does change and surprises you. My husband and I were a happy couple leaving the restaurant last night.
_TI***ldI had a lovely afternoon tea experience here with my family. The cakes and sandwiches were not only delicious but also elegantly presented, making for a delightful dining experience in a comfortable setting.
TheForkUserOne of the best sushi place in Bristol, the food is great and reasonably priced. Always love to come here and the staff is nice and friendly!
TheForkUserThe staff were amazing. Having booked through fork the booking hadn't made it to the restaurant, even though they were absolutely packed they managed to find us a table. The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us even though they were rushed off their feet. Thank you
TheForkUserWe arrived for a 12.15 pm lunch in order to beat the busy period. Most customers were outside in the sunshine but we had chosen to eat indoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the ambiance very tasteful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sister in law and I had the sea bass fillets and my husband had the gammon. Plates were all clean and my husband and I had a dessert. We will be back the next time we visit the area.
TheForkUserWe had the Christmas menu 2 courses but could only manage 1, we were charged the full amount but not offered the 2nd course to take away, we had 4 meals and 4 drinks at a cost of£70. It would have been good if the server had told us we would have to pay for 2 courses
_TI***zmThis café offers a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The views from the upper floor are an added bonus!
TheForkUserservice is great. very nice menu with fresh ingredients. love the place. coffee is fab and the young staff there are just great. everything was very good.
TheForkUserNice atmosphere, busy yet cosy restaurant. The food is superb and the service was exceptional. I would certainly highly recommend it and will go again.
TheForkUserExcellent food, well cooked and presented and very friendly service. Good, modern surroundings and a relaxed ambience. We will be returning.
TheForkUserImpeccable food (Sunday lunch) and service in a slightly out-of-the-way spot that’s absolutely worth the short trip from the centre of Bath.

TheForkUserWhat a wonderful lunch ! Taking our 92 year old aunt for lunch. Debs our waitress was superb - attentive but not intrusive, 10/10 for Debs
TheForkUserFood was excellence. Service was quite slow. It was obvious that we would have to wait with only 3 staff dealing the bar, restaurant etc.The number of staff left to cope was not good, but those that were there were very good.I suggest you employ more staff to avoid damaging your very good reputation
_TI***dqWe celebrated a birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond, even bringing out a cake with lit candles. The food was delicious and timely.
TheForkUserThe restaurant was Christmassy and the waitress went out of her way to be helpful particularly as I have a food allergy. The ambience was lovely and the food really nice. All in all a lovely lunch!
TheForkUserWe loved our afternoon . The restaurant was extremely busy largely with people having Cream tea for two at 1pm!! We ordered from the menu and had a delicious light lunch which included a main and a dessert . Service was very friendly and helpful but incredibly slow presumably because of staff shortages on a bank holiday .we will definitely come again. It is a very pleasant light and airy restaurant with a great view of the golf course and countryside .
TheForkUserPlenty of parking. Great to find such variety on a pub menu, available online at the Vintage Inns site, along with any allergy details for which you may need to allow. Driving today, so was not able to sample the Doom Bar beer. Pepsi Max and Fruity fizzy drinks, instead. Well chilled. Chose the Crab Cake starter & Moroccan Chicken skewers. Food was perfectly prepared with fantastic taste. Fairly quiet early on a Monday evening, but still a pleasant environment with gentle background music. Not the best weather this evening, but noted the outdoor seating is well furnished and extensive for a hot, sunny day. A couple of steps down to the main restaurant area, but the Inn had noted our booking requirements and had thankfully allocated us a table in the quiet part of the upper area.
TheForkUserFantastic food. Great balance of flavours across lots of dishes. The wine was an excellent example of Alsacienne pinot blanc. Relaxed and informal. Loved it
_TI***dkThe tapas dishes at Edesia were incredible, with generous portions and great flavors. The decor is beautiful, making it an ideal spot for an intimate dinner or brunch with friends.
