The reason the ambiance was rated so low is because despite having a heater in the restaurant, it was not on and it was so cold we could not take off our coats, and this is the first restaurant bathroom I've been in that did not have a toilet seat.. confirmed with my partner not in the men's or women's room, and the hard wooden seating really needs some padding. It's not hard or expensive to go to a china shop or such to get some seat cushions. Nosso, also in Covilhã has done this to make their customers more comfortable and it's appreciated!Restaurante Real

The dinning room is on the 2nd floor. Access only with winding and long staircase. No elevator. TheForkUserWhat a nice surprise on a Tuesday evening, early- we arrived on time at 7:30 and were warmly greeting. Our nice waitress didn't speak English and we didn't speak Portuguese but their QR code menu has very good fotos of the dishes and we easily chose our dishes. My husband had a salmon and shrimp dish, and i had the red tuna poke bowl. Both were delicious and nicely prepared and presented. We sat outside and the area was neat and tidy. This is a nice find, and thanks to the Fork, we has a lovely dinner.Casa Piano
