The chicken selects were spot on, really crispy and juicy. The sour cream and chive dip was a great match. Table service is a nice touch, makes it feel a bit more relaxed than the usual counter order.

Lovely breakfast spot. The coffee is top-notch, which is saying something from this self-proclaimed snob. The interior is really cosy, with big windows and comfy booths. A nice place to linger over a morning brew.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends. The pressed lamb belly was really tasty, and the staff were so nice. It did get a bit loud later on, but that just added to the lively vibe.

The coffee and cakes are lovely. I left my handbag behind by mistake and was so relieved to get it back a few days later, with everything still inside. Really speaks to the honest and thoughtful service here.

Lovely little spot for a cuppa. The pot of tea was generous, easily two cups. Toast and jam was fine, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Saw some tempting cakes on the counter though.

Been coming here for a while, the fish and chips are always solid. The curry sauce is the real star though, so rich and flavourful. Portions are generous for the price.

Lovely spot by the old Roman walls. The coffee was spot on, and their wine list had a few nice surprises to go with the cakes.

The cheese and bacon rolls here are a real treat. Just had one fresh from the oven, the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey. A bit on the small side for the price, but honestly, I'd probably get another.

Lovely, welcoming team. The food is beautiful, especially the freshness of the ingredients in the salad. You can really taste the quality. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was attentive. A very pleasant spot for a light lunch.

Lost my scarf here last week. The team found it and actually offered to post it back to me - they really didn't have to do that. Such a nice touch, makes you want to go back just for the people.

The coffee here is pretty good, especially the lattes and iced refreshers. It’s a decent spot with quality that feels a step above what you’d expect for the price.

Our daily breakfast spot. The scrambled eggs are always spot on, not too runny. Coffee's strong, just how I like it. It's the kind of place where they remember your order. Simple, reliable, and hits the spot every morning.

The team here are just so lovely. They remembered our group from last time and chatted with us between courses - it really made the night feel relaxed and fun. Such a nice touch for a catch-up with friends.

The coffee here is top-notch, honestly one of the best cups I've had in a long while. The caramel cake was spot on, not too sweet. The brownie crunch could've been a bit more... crunchy, but it was still tasty.

The coffee’s always spot on. But what really gets me is the warm croissant—flaky, buttery, just the right kind of cosy for a quiet morning.

The on-site parking is a lifesaver in York. It's so rare to find a spot that's both quiet and convenient. Made popping in for a midweek lunch completely stress-free.

Popped in for a slice of carrot cake and ended up trying the black forest gateau too. The cake selection is really something! So many choices, it was hard to pick just one. A lovely little spot for a sweet treat.

The free WiFi's decent, but honestly, I'm here for the food. Their burger patty is thick and properly juicy, cooked just right. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice little spot to get some work done. The lo-fi music and rustic vibe are really chill. Had a coffee and just sat for a couple hours. Could use a few more power outlets though.
