Came here after a long hike, absolutely knackered. The rump steak was spot on, really generous portion too. Staff were lovely, made us feel right at home.

This tiny stall feels just like a home kitchen. The food tastes honest, no bright colours from a bottle, just simple and real. You can tell they care.

Been coming here for our monthly breakfast meetings. The food is consistently good, and service is always quick. Plenty of parking, which is a big plus for us.

A proper country pub with a great beer selection. The veggie breakfast with grilled halloumi was spot on, and the chef clearly knows his stuff. The bedroom was quiet and the bed comfy. My only quibble? The wine list felt a bit limited for a place with such good food.

Came for the live music. Good vibe, decent crowd. Music was a nice touch, made the evening. Got a quick bite, burger was fine. Solid spot if you want something casual with a bit of energy.

The takeaway packaging is solid, keeps the food hot for ages. Had the chicken tikka masala, and it was still steaming when I got home. Makes a real difference for a proper hot meal.

Mike was our server and honestly, he made the night. So much energy and genuinely nice. He even offered to take a family photo for us, which was a really sweet touch. Service like that is a bonus.

Been coming here for years, the Sunday roast is always reliable. The beef is sliced thick, just how I like it. Gravy’s spot on.

The pizza was really fresh, with a lovely thin crust and quality ingredients. Just what I was looking for.

The samosa sandwich was huge and really hit the spot. Can't argue with the price either.

Popped in for a drink on a Tuesday and got roped into the pub quiz. The staff were so welcoming about it, even found us a quieter table in the corner to join in. Made for a really nice, relaxed evening.

I really appreciate the focus on local crafts and the fresh ingredients used in their small plates. The atmosphere is lovely for a quiet lunch.

The chicken and paneer wrap was really good, a nice combo. Portions are decent for what you pay. Staff were helpful when I asked about the sauce.

First time trying their mixed grill and masala fish on naan. The fish was perfectly spiced, really tender. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it for that flavour.

The samosas are really good here. Crispy pastry, spiced potato filling that's not too heavy. I always get a couple to go. Staff are friendly, makes the place feel welcoming.

Been here a few times for a quick lunch. The burgers are reliably juicy, and the fries always arrive hot. It’s a solid, consistent option when you need something straightforward and filling. Does the job well.

The steak pie was pretty good, nice and tender. The burger was fine too, homemade and decently sized. Service was polite and attentive. Prices felt reasonable for what you get.

Lovely spot for a quiet coffee. The sleepy jazz music is a nice touch, really adds to the cosy vibe. Perfect for just sitting and watching the street for a while. My latte was good, though it did cool down a bit quickly.

Late lunch, and the manager was so kind. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with our food. A really pleasant spot.

A cosy spot in the centre. The hot chocolate was rich and perfect for the chilly afternoon. I was impressed by their cheese board selection—the staff suggested a local cider that paired beautifully with the blue cheese. A nice little find.

Booked the upstairs function room for a private do. The team handled everything perfectly, really clear with communication beforehand. They were so attentive on the night, nothing was too much trouble. Made the whole event run smoothly.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a casual meal. The staff are always welcoming and the food quality is consistently good.

Popped in for a quick bite. The vegan burger was solid, really hit the spot. Staff were super chill with our little one running around, which was a relief. Nice, relaxed spot.

The lamb platter was huge, easily fed two. The meat was good quality and everything tasted fresh, especially the tzatziki.

This place is just so cozy. I keep thinking about coming back for a simple, relaxed meal. The vibe really lets you unwind.

Found this spot tucked away. Bench seating was surprisingly comfy. Music had that old-school, chill vibe. Just right for a quiet lunch.

Been coming here for years, and their Vietnamese iced coffee is still the one I order every time. Strong, sweet, just the right amount of condensed milk. It’s the thing that keeps me coming back.
