Lovely relaxed spot. I grabbed a table upstairs near the pool table, which was perfect for a quiet drink. The food was really good, and they have a nice drinks selection. A comfortable place to unwind.

Stopped in to get out of the rain. The place was pretty full but they found us a table. The service was spot on, really attentive without being pushy. We ended up lingering over dessert and coffee, felt like we got our money's worth.

This restaurant offers a great selection of drinks and the service is top-notch. Our servers Kerry and Jazz were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our brunch.

Staff were very helpful with accessibility needs. They made adjustments quickly, no fuss. It’s a straightforward, considerate approach that makes the visit much easier.

The food was tasty, especially the grilled fish. Service was friendly and quick. A comfortable spot for a casual meal.

Gelato here is solid. The pistachio flavour was rich and authentic, not overly sweet. Good texture. A bit pricey for the portion, but it's a reliable spot near the office.

Food was brilliant, and the host's welcome was spot on. Their wine list had some interesting local finds that paired nicely.

Perfect spot for a quick coffee break. Staff are friendly, cake was fresh. Got my order in under 5 minutes. Just what I needed.

Nathaniel is such a gem, always remembers our group and makes us feel welcome. The veggie platter was a solid choice for sharing with friends. Good vibes for a casual catch-up.

Great spot for catching up with friends. The big windows let in so much light, perfect for a long lunch chat. Some of the chairs are looking a bit tired, but honestly, we were too busy talking to care.

The Alchemist is a must-visit! The ambiance is lively, and the drinks are theatrical and fun, making it a great spot for a night out.

No. 10 of Bars in Manchester

Service was spot on, and they had a nice wine list to browse while we waited. Food came out quick enough for a midweek visit.

As a vegetarian, I was really happy with the menu. Lots of authentic Indian options, which you don't always find. The paneer tikka masala portion was generous for the price, felt like good value.

Been coming here for years, and the Liberty Island burger is always spot on. Juicy, fresh, the works. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back. The fries are still solid, too. Never had a bad one.

First time here and the pasta really stood out. You can tell it's freshly made, the texture was spot on and the sauce had a lovely depth to it. A solid choice for a simple, tasty meal.

The Punjabi Murgh was cooked just right. My main takeaway is the portion size for the price—it was really generous, I even had some to take home. Good for a filling meal without breaking the bank.

The steak and ale pie was the star. The filling was rich and the pastry was spot on. They gave me extra gravy without any fuss, which was perfect for the mash. That's what I come for.

The lamb shank is always spot on, never had a bad one.

Cosy little place, good vibe. Staff are nice but service can drag a bit when it's packed. Had to wait a while for the bill. Still, a decent local spot.

Been coming here for years. Their build-your-own breakfast is the reason I keep coming back. You can always count on the quality, even if it's a bit pricier than other spots. It's just consistently good.

The new look is really well done, feels like they put a lot of thought into it. I had a jacket potato and it was the best part of the visit.

Use Toby Cavery quite regularly. We find it reasonably priced, the food is always good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant, but make sure you book as it gets really busy.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper old-school curry house, no frills. The lamb rogan josh is packed with flavour. They've got a decent house red that actually works with the spices, which is a nice touch.

Solid pub with a great beer selection. The pizza was decent, a good match for the pints. Service was efficient, got a table quickly on a Thursday evening. A reliable spot for a straightforward meal and a drink.

Food comes out steaming hot because they cook it fresh right at the counter. You can really taste that freshness. Portions are decent for what you pay, which I always appreciate. Makes for a solid, no-fuss lunch.

The steak was cooked just right, really juicy. But what I loved was the space itself—high ceilings and those big windows let in so much light, made the whole lunch feel really relaxed. A nice spot.

Staff very friendly from the moment we went into the bar area. Service great, very informative, just a lovely relaxed vibe. Restaurant staff all very friendly and attentive. Menu excellent, served in good time, tasty well presented. Will definitely recommend and we will go back again, soon. Good experience.

Been coming here for years, and it's the staff that keep me coming back. They remember my usual order, always have a quick chat. Makes it feel like a proper local, even on busy Friday nights. The darts board is a nice bonus, but honestly, it's the friendly faces that make it.
