The staff were so lovely and smiley, it really made the evening. Food was delicious too, though our meals did come out a bit staggered. Still, a really nice vibe here.

Andy at the bar is a gem. He's quick, makes a cracking drink, and actually seems to enjoy being there. That kind of genuine vibe makes all the difference. My G&T was spot on.

Staff are friendly and efficient, even when customising orders. It's a solid spot for a quick lunch.

First time trying their pizza and it was spot on. The crust had a lovely char, and the spicy salami gave it a real kick. Watching them work in the open kitchen was a cool bonus.

Our server June was fantastic. She knew the menu inside out and her suggestions were spot on. Really made the evening.

The toasties were solid, not greasy at all. I did wish the cheese was a bit more melty, though. Still, a nice find for a quick lunch.

Karolina was so lovely, really made us feel at home. The truffle pasta was the star though - rich and creamy, just perfect.

The steak was cooked perfectly, but the dining room was freezing.

The BBQ combo with brisket and pulled pork was spot on. Really tender, great smoky flavour. The generous portions were a bonus. Paired it with a local craft lager, which cut through the richness nicely. Solid choice for a casual dinner.

The staff at Slug and Lettuce are exceptional! Lucy provided speedy and friendly service, making our visit truly memorable.

Great spot for a quick bite after arriving at Leeds station. I had the Turkish eggs - the freshness of the herbs and the perfectly runny yolks were just right. A really nice, simple start to the day.

Cosy spot, ideal for a date. The lighting was just right, felt warm and inviting. Even when it got busy later, the tables weren't too close together. The wine list had some interesting local options, which was a nice touch.

The service here is really good. Amina, Andreea and Eylul were all very friendly and professional. They made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It was a nice, relaxed meal because of them.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional! Keira was incredibly attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable.

Excellent, warm, friendly service. Food was absolutely delicious. It was my husbands birthday and they made us feel so special.

The Sunday roast here is spot on. Beef was cooked just right, not overdone. They brought an extra jug of gravy without me asking, which was perfect for the generous Yorkshire puddings. Portions are big, left feeling very full.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot-on, even when packed.

Been coming here for years, and the samosa chaat is the reason. It's always just right - crispy, tangy, not too heavy. That consistency keeps me coming back. The place gets busy, sure, but I don't mind waiting for that plate.

Been coming here for years. Love the back room, it's always quiet. Perfect for a pint and a chat. The railway stuff on the walls is a nice touch, feels proper local.

I had a fantastic experience with generous portion sizes and excellent service. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The soft play area kept our little ones busy for ages, which was a lifesaver. Staff were really sweet with the kids and didn't rush us at all. A solid spot for a family meal when you just need everyone to be happy.

The young guy working solo was so friendly and helpful. Coffee and sandwiches were a nice touch with our ice cream.

Lovely service, lovely food. Should be clearer that it's in a (superb) retirement village, we're happy with that and will be back, but might not be for everyone

I was pleasantly surprised by their vegan options! The staff was super helpful and even whipped up a simple pasta dish for me that wasn't on the menu. Really tasty.

Manager's specials are a steal. Had the mixed grill for under a fiver. Solid portion, decent quality. Can't really argue with that price. Good for a quick, cheap bite.

Chicken parmo was solid. The mac and cheese layer underneath was a nice touch. Chips were crispy, good seasoning. Would get it again.

Mariam was such a bright spot. She noticed we were a bit lost with the menu and just took over with the best energy. Her recommendations were spot on, and she checked on us just the right amount. Really made the evening.

Popped in for a late lunch. The Croque Madame was spot on, just the right amount of rich and savoury. Really hit the spot. The vibe in there was just right for a quiet afternoon.
