We asked for a table with a view to the Valley of the Temples monuments that were illuminated and they put us in a terrace at the third floor which was great,.This combination (food, service and view) made this the best dinner of our trip to Sicily.

We went for the 3 course €60 menu ( you can just choose from the main menu), everything including amuse boucle and pre-dessert was inventive and delicious. We're not wild about the 'log in to WiFi scan QR code ' for the menu but fortunately they actually take your orders and you pay in person, not all done online. What's wrong with proper menus?! A great experience nevertheless.

The three apps we shared to start our meal were beautifully presented and were super fresh…fish and seafood. Excellent pasta followed and the dessert. Many thanks for a wonderful evening. TheForkUserWe went on a cold rainy night so could not make use of their lovely front terrace. The restaurant inside is simple and pleasant and the service is friendly and warm. Their menu is typical but our dishes were all delicious. A great bitter negroni! We’d be happy to go back.

We also appreciated the Sicilian wine recommendations, which were very good and, again, reasonably priced. In summary, it was a meal that we will recall fondly for years to come. If you haven’t been to Agugliapersa, you’re missing out. Just go!

TheForkUserThe Pizza was amazing, not a coincidence that almost everyone at the bottega was having one as well. Incredible crust and dough, crispy on the outside yet chewy inside and excellent fresh local produce for the topping 10/10. As it is a bottega, there was a lot of noise and some parties around us behaving less than cordial - Ok for a night out to watch a football game, less so if going for dinner together and expecting to have a conversation without needing to speak out loud. Copper to was charged without offering bread or anything else, which might be a cultural difference, but comes across a bit deceitful as it’s a charge for a service that’s not being offered.
