Been coming here for years. The wine list is seriously impressive, staff really know their stuff. Got a bottle that was a bit pricier than I usually go for, but the sommelier&#39;s suggestion was spot on. Felt like good value for the quality.

Loved the little terrace tucked away on that side street. It felt like a secret spot even though you&#39;re just off the main piazza. The staff were really nice, too. A lovely place to sit.

Cecilia had breakfast ready super early for us, which was a lifesaver. The resort itself is a nice spot to come back to after exploring&mdash;we found this church nearby with the world&#39;s largest mosaic, totally unexpected.

Desserts were a highlight. The chocolate cheesecake was rich, and their dessert wine pairing suggestion was spot on.

They tweaked the pasta sauce for me, less spicy. Nice when a place actually listens. Made a difference.

A lovely setting in the grounds of the hotel. We were offered a table inside or outside on the terrace. A warm still April evening made that choice an easy one. The menu is  marvellously creative and the food beautifully presented; spinach and mushroom ice cream as accompaniments to dishes? Yes really! Every dish was delicious. Wine by the (generous) glass if that&rsquo;s all you want. Lovely friendly, polite and jovial service. Cannot fault the whole evening. Superb.
