The fish bites were the star for me. Freshly fried, perfect with a crisp lager. The rest was fine, but that pairing made the evening. A bit pricey for what it is, though.

Popular spot, so there's often a queue. Got the chicken wrap to go. They cook everything fresh when you order, so it does take a few minutes. Not the fastest, but the food is hot and tastes good. Worth the short wait for a proper lunch.

Been here a few times now and it's always solid. The staff are really on it, which makes a difference.

The staff were so lovely and attentive. They noticed our little one was getting restless and brought over some crayons - such a thoughtful touch that made our lunch so much smoother.

Stopped by on a whim. The pasta was really fresh and flavourful. Service was spot on – they were around when you needed them but didn't hover. Felt relaxed the whole time.

The lemon cheesecake bomb was a fantastic end to the meal. The clementine tart with raspberry sorbet was just as good.

The bearded chap and his team were spot on. Food kept flowing, service was attentive without being overbearing.

The Doner Sizzler Box with cheesy garlic naan is a proper feast. Three kinds of doner meat, all nicely marinated. The space itself is really relaxed, with comfy booths that make it easy to just settle in for a while.

The Sunday roast is cooked just right. The meat is full of flavour and the traditional sides are spot on.

Rooms are clean and spacious, had everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable, slept so well. A bit of noise from the hallway in the morning, but overall a good stay for the price.

Finally found a place with a proper gluten-free dessert selection! The menu's huge, and you can tell they put thought into it. Felt like a normal person ordering cake, not an afterthought.

Been craving proper fish and chips and this place hit the spot. The batter was crispy, fish inside was flaky and fresh. Best part? Didn't feel heavy or greasy at all afterwards, which is rare for fried food. Will be back when the craving strikes again.

The fish and chips are good. The batter is light and crispy, and the chips are thick-cut.

A proper old-fashioned chip shop, lovely and cozy. Just a heads up, they only open a few days a week, so do check their hours. The staff are really friendly, which makes the whole visit feel relaxed and easy.

BYOB is a nice touch, no corkage fee. We brought a bottle of red we'd been saving. It made a casual Tuesday dinner feel a bit more like an occasion. The staff didn't mind at all, just popped it open for us.

Nice little pub with a cracking selection of Timothy Taylor ales. The outdoor bit is lovely, perfect for a pint with the dog.

Good location at the top of the hill. The Bridgehouse Brewery ales were a solid choice.

The chicken and bacon salad was spot on, and the wine list had a nice local white that paired perfectly with it. Good spot.

Nice spot for a pint after a walk. They're dog-friendly, which is a plus. The vibe is relaxed, and the seating is pretty spacious. It's just a short walk from the town centre, which is handy.

The food was really lovely, and the atmosphere is pleasant. What stood out for me was the service – the staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel very relaxed. A really nice spot for a quiet dinner.

Loved the small plates specials. They were a good size for sharing, and the price felt right. We tried the grilled octopus and the burrata - both were spot on. Nice way to sample a few things without over-ordering.

The steak was spot on, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Portions were huge, we couldn't even think about dessert! Service was really friendly too.

The porridge here is a good breakfast. It's creamy, not too sweet, and the portion is decent for the price. The toast was just okay, a bit plain. But for a quick, simple bowl of porridge in Skipton, it does the job.

Good for a quick bite after exploring Settle. The takeaway counter is efficient, and the small restaurant area is fine for a sit-down meal. Parking across the road is a plus. Located near the town centre, which is convenient.
