Ollie sorted out some flowers for us last minute, which was a nice touch. Food was really good, service spot on. Just a chilled evening out.

A nice pub in central Hove. Came in for a quiet lunch and found it very comfortable. The booths are spacious and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. The fish and chips were just right for a midday meal. It’s a good spot if you want a relaxed bite.

The Meat Feast takeaway pizza was spot on. Really generous with the toppings, and that stone-baked base had a perfect crisp to it. The veggie one looked great too. Just what we needed.

Grilled fish and oysters were very fresh. The seafood overall had good flavour. Service was efficient, and the location is convenient for a business lunch. A bit on the pricier side, but you're paying for the quality.

The hash browns were so good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. I was also really happy to see a separate gluten-free menu, made ordering easy.

Had the chicken schnitzel for lunch, it was cooked just right. The space itself is really spacious and airy, which I liked. Felt very relaxed just sitting there, not rushed at all. Good spot if you want a chill meal.

Loved the vibe here! The warm lighting and all the plants made it feel so cosy. Perfect for a chilled midweek catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Been coming here for brunch for a while. Zahra recommended the smoked salmon hash this time – a pretty good choice. The hash brown was nice and crisp, and the creme fraiche with the salmon worked well. The iced avocado coffee is a nice touch, too. Portions are decent, though it felt a touch pricey.

Love that you can customise your sandwich and choose your own salad amount. Makes it feel a bit healthier.

Wood-fired pizzas are top notch. Quick bite, proper Italian chef. Halloumi fries and churros were good too.

Came for the brunch. The food was fresh, no complaints there. But for the price, I expected a bit more on the plate. The setting is lovely, though.

The owners are so friendly, they gave us a free falafel while we waited for our order. The food is made fresh and tastes really good. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to just sit and enjoy your meal.

Grabbed a quick bite at the branch by the station before my train. The portion for the price was decent, filled me up for the journey. Could've been a bit bigger, but it did the job.

Classic breakfast never misses. Ala the owner is lovely, makes you feel like a regular. Just a proper, cosy family-run spot.

The halloumi fries were the star for me - perfectly crispy outside, soft and salty inside. Veggie burger was solid too. Staff were really friendly and attentive.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Julia and Zack made our visit enjoyable. They were attentive without being overbearing. Great for a quick, pleasant lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the jerk chicken is still as good as the first time. That smoky, spicy flavor is just right every single visit. It’s the one thing I keep coming back for.

Popped in for a late bite. The pizza was solid, especially with the extra toppings we added. The fries were a nice surprise, really crispy. Got a bottle of house red too, all for a price that didn't hurt the wallet.

Been coming here for years, their curry is always spot on. Portions are generous for the price, you definitely get your money's worth. A solid choice when you want something filling without breaking the bank.

The takeaway pad thai was spot on, really authentic. Portion was huge, and it was all packed up so neatly. Just a shame the noodles got a tiny bit clumpy by the time I got home.

Friendly staff even when it's packed. They're quick and efficient, which is exactly what you need for a fast lunch. Makes grabbing a quick bite here a no-brainer.

Nice local pub. Cosy inside, feels like a proper village spot. Had a pint by the fire. Good vibe for a quiet evening.

Came here over Christmas. The menu had some really thoughtful gluten-free and dairy-free choices.

First time for lunch. Food was really good, prices fair, portions decent. Staff were friendly and on it even though the place was packed.

Lovely evening with friends here. The traditional French dishes were spot on, especially the coq au vin. The vibe was warm and buzzy, perfect for catching up. A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for.
