This is the restaurant where Catalan chef Carles Abellan (who currently owns nine restaurants) defines "Barcelona cuisine". In the vintage-style decoration, soothing music flows; although the layout of the restaurant is a bit cramped, the friendly and thoughtful service is enough to make up for it. The name of the restaurant is a pun, sucar lent, which means "slowly dip" in Catalan; and suculento means "delicious and juicy" in Spanish. They are practicing all of this through the careful design and patient cooking of each dish!

Had high expectations - and they were amply fulfilled. Fold (Menu) delicious, exiting and still had several surprising moments in most positive terms. Wine menu had also several highlights, even if first dishes somewhat outdid the respective pairings. Service very professional and still welcoming Highly recommended.
What a place, we had the fixed course menu which was fantastic. My wife is a pescatarian but they substituted the relevant dishes which were equally good. Waiter was fantastic, couldn’t speak more highly of the place. Glad we went!
Staff was very helpful to make the best of our experience .. food was superb. deserts outstanding. Wine list was just perfect. For short: Definitely, you should try it..
My wife and I went with the Suculent menu without the wine pairing. Next time! The food was amazing and we felt it was an overall great experience with the service and value.
