Great restaurant with very helpful staff. The ambience was much local and we enjoyed sitting outside in the covered area. The food portion of cachopo is enormous, easily enough for two people with a good appetite and incredible value for money. The croquettes were delicious and freshly made.  Make sure you are really hungry.

Al llegar la reserva era en la terraza, que no lo sab&iacute;amos, pero con las estufas cenamos a gusto. Los camareros muy amables y eficientes. El cachopo minero espectacular. Cenamos muy bien y a buen precio.

When we arrived, we had a reservation for the terrace, which we didn&#39;t know about, but we had a nice dinner with the heaters. The waiters were very friendly and efficient. The cachopo minero was spectacular. We had a very good dinner at a good price.

Somos nuevos en Oviedo y quisimos comer cachopo en uno de los sitios m&aacute;s recomendados y hemos acertado 100%. Hemos escogido el cachopo 2016 para compartir y una botella de sidra y ha sido la mejor bienvenida que podr&iacute;amos haber tenido. Los trabajadores son muy atentos y amables y el sitio es muy acogedor!

We are new to Oviedo and we wanted to eat cachopo in one of the most recommended places and we were 100% right. We chose the cachopo 2016 to share and a bottle of cider and it was the best welcome we could have had. The workers are very attentive and friendly and the place is very cozy!

The courtyard where we ate is really charming, and the menu of the day good value.   The waiter was very efficient.

Great food. Walked the Camino San Salvador, and was craving a great vegetable friendly meal. It really hit the spot! Everything was cooked perfect.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!! Terrible, super happy with the service and the delicious and cheap food. The cricket was a heaven with us :) thank you very much for everything! We take good memories of Oviedo with us!

The menu was a very good reflection of the excellent produce of the Asturias region, wonderfully fresh and vibrant. The red tuna with toffee and orange vermouth was a daring yet triumphant dish beautifully executed. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and discreet. The wine list is extensive. The restaurant was spacious and offered a tranquil location for dining. A very good culinary experience. An evening enjoyed and valued.

really good food with nice flavours: shrimp carpaccio, leek gratin and pork rib, all very tasteful. Basic small restaurant, with good english speaking owner/waiter/chef.

I chose Salazogue because I wanted to eat something healthy and not heavy for lunch  (it was 30 Celsius in August), and preferably seafood. All the dishes I ordered were delicious and fresh: tomato salad with marinated sardines, escabeche of white tuna, steamed hake with langoustine broth. Even the dessert, a coffee flan with matcha ice cream, was innovative and delicious. I highly recommend Salazogue.
