PortoBello (Italian, Mediterranean Cusine - Cocina Italiana y Mediterranea)

Not so much a restaurant but a nice cafe. Booked a table via The Fork, Portabello wasn’t aware , the guy said he hadn’t looked. My husband and I were looking to have an early meal at 6pm before going to a show. The service was swift, had garlic bread with cheese to start, one to share, very nice but neither of us could taste any garlic. For main we had burger with cheese & bacon, was OK but the burger bun was hard and a little burnt around the edges. Don’t think we would visit again as it is quite off putting have someone mopping the floor around your table while you eat. Our server was nice and polite.

Doesn't look like much, and the service is rushed and lacking in general. But to my surprise, the food was actually quite good. For the price, it's great value.

We really liked the food but the service was very poor! Also they charge €4.50 for a glass of not great wine, which is outrageous for Spain.

Nice, drinks are expensive, good and fresh food

We booked expecting the location and day to be very busy, but to our surprise, it wasn't at all. When we arrived, there were only one or two tables. When I say "surprised," I mean the quality of the restaurant's offerings was truly excellent. Everything was delicious, and we paid an outrageous price, given that other restaurants in the same location cost twice as much, often for less quality. We ordered a salad, chicken tears, and a pizza, and everything was spectacular. Special mention goes to the chicken tears and the sauce they came with, which was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly from the first moment. I would definitely return. Thank you very much.
