Starfish - Royal Hideaway Corales Resort

This dinner was part of our wedding anniversary getaway ... and other than a little fresh as the sun set in an open glass restaurant , the quality of food, food choices ( we had oysters, prawns, fish and a lovely pineapple dessert), wine, cocktails, service and (open) kitchen was excellent.And we're made to feel very special for our evening out with Starfish.

We were made to feel very welcome! The food was excellent, cooked to perfection. The service was brilliant by all . We had such a lovely last night to our holiday. The wonderful sunset view and ambience of the restaurant was very special to us. Thank you.

We loved this place. The food was fresh and delicious, staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, setting was gorgeous. A special night and dinner to remember.

I booked a month ago but accidentally booked the wrong date. The team there was so kind to help us find a booking despite the Easter holiday rush. Service was great and when we looked lost in the menu they took the initiative to recommend dishes with local ingredients. The sea view was amazing and the modernist hotel in the background was also complimentary. Food was great overall. Can’t really go wrong with the char grilled octopus, the char was on point and a interesting pair with the Mojo sauce. We were recommended to come for the Carabineros and it did not disappoint. Fresh and juicy, eating the head was like taking a shot of prawn bisque. We also ordered chutoro tartare and pedron peppers. The pineapple sorbet with rum foam and coconut crumble was a special way to end the meal.

A lovely restaurant, with exceptionally attentive & knowledgeable staff. Our starters were superb, although our mains were bland lacking the level of quality expected from the cost. Not impressed with the cost by weight of basic fish, we will struggle to return whilst this menu remains.
