We had a very nice lunch with a variety of dishes. The staff was very friendly. Kids wanted pasta adults had paella and bacalao.  All good!

Comimos un men&uacute;/degustaci&oacute;n de 5 tapas, lo mejor las carcamusas caseras muy bien hechas y estofado de venado, muy tierno y bueno tambi&eacute;n.Migas, pisto manchego y boquerones fritos con salsa t&aacute;rtara.Bebida, pan y postre ( tartas caseras)Todo por 38&euro; Todo casero y en el centro de Toledo. Sin aglomeraci&oacute;n para ser domingo, y buen servicio. Lo recomiendo.

We had a tasting menu of 5 tapas, the best of which were the homemade carcamusas, very well made, and the venison stew, very tender and good too.
Migas, pisto manchego and fried anchovies with tartar sauce.
Drink, bread and dessert (homemade cakes)
All for &euro;38. All homemade and in the centre of Toledo. 
Not crowded for a Sunday, and good service. 
I recommend it.

Very friendly, especially the waiter Mr. Padilla. The food was very good and the place was small but very cozy. I definitely recommend it and we will definitely come back.

Nos ha gustado mucho, la calidad de los platos, pedimos un menu degustaci&oacute;n de cinco platos y estaba todo muy bueno y bien preparado, pero lo mejor es la atenci&oacute;n del personal muy amables, divertidos, profesionales y cercanos, pasamos un rato muy agradable. La ubicaci&oacute;n es buena est&aacute; muy cerca de la catedral. Totalmente recomendable.

We really liked the quality of the dishes. We ordered a five-course tasting menu and everything was very good and well prepared. But the best thing was the service of the staff, very friendly, fun, professional and approachable. We had a very pleasant time. The location is good, it is very close to the cathedral. Totally recommended.

La atenci&oacute;n muy atenta, el entrecotte de buey no estaba muy all&aacute; pero se pod&iacute;a comer aunque con dificultad. Los postres estupendos.

The service was very attentive, the beef entrecote was not very good but it was edible although with difficulty. The desserts were great.

Hidden gem with excellent food, including local specialties, and great service. Location just off main streets. Highly recommended!

Local food with honest prices e very polite service. At first sight the restaurant looked touristic, but after lunch we changed our minds.

Very convenient and modern restaurant in the centre of Toledo. Food is great and imaginative. You can share plates at a very decent price. Staff is very friendly too and we were served at a good pace.

An attractive space, elegant but low-key, in a fine hotel. (Nonetheless in summer, the diners often wear shorts - as did we!) Excellent food and warm, accommodating service.

As the main restaurant of Parador de Toledo, the view here is naturally much better than the guest rooms. From the dinner on the night of check-in to the breakfast on the next day, the two consecutive meals at the same seat were accompanied by beautiful scenery. I love it so much~~
In fact, its main meals are quite ordinary, mediocre, and neither good nor bad. If you just want to see the scenery, it is recommended to keep it as simple as possible, and watch more and eat less...
The breakfast buffet is better, not only with a rich variety, but also with good quality of the most Spanish-style churros and Iberian ham.

The service at El Cardenal was truly exceptional. The friendly, knowledgeable staff were very attentive and provided excellent recommendations, including helping us choose the perfect wine pairing to complement our meal. And the food itself was simply outstanding. Everything we tried, from the classic Spanish croquetas to the Spanish style pulpo🐙 and decadent desserts, all was bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced - no need for any additional seasoning. The quality of the ingredients and the skilled preparation were evident in every bite.While El Cardenal is not the most budget-friendly option, the combination of the wonderful atmosphere, nice service, and delectable cuisine makes it well worth the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Spanish/Mediterranean dining experience right in the heart of Toledo.
