I booked a table through thefork but arrived to find there was no table reserved for us. Fortunately there were lots of tables available and the food was good as usual. The Archibald is in a great location, with views, out to the city, and the atmosphere is inviting. My only concern is the booking system doesn’t work.

Wow! What a great evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were served with a carefully crafted unique 5 course menu with great wine. A personal touch from the owner made it very special for us, and it didn’t even break the bank! We’ve already made plans to go again. Highly, highly recommended!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, not overcrowded like some restaurants, nice ambience, friendly people, you could talk to each other without yelling ( some restaurants are very noisy - this one isn't ) Food was exquisite - and we just wanted more - we will be definitely be going back

Asian Cuisine

Went to Blue Mountains for a visit and had lunch in a small town. It was a quiet town with few people and I didn't know which restaurant to eat at. I asked the tour guide if there were any Southeast Asian dishes because I had eaten too much Western food. He recommended two restaurants, one at the end of the street. I followed the instructions and walked all the way there. I found this restaurant when I was almost at the end. There were no customers inside. The waiter asked me to sit down. The restaurant was not small. I ordered a meat skewer at random. It tasted sweet and delicious. I also ordered a seafood stir-fry, which was also a bit sweet and sour, and very delicious. I didn't expect there to be good Southeast Asian dishes here, and the price was not expensive. I recommend it!

Really enjoyed the food. Service was slow due to other catering priorities on the day but the food quality made up for the slow service. The chapatis were soft and the overall quantity was filling.

We throughly enjoyed the garlic bread followed by the delicious tender chicken skewers. One with salad the other with fries. A glass of wine each. Great meal and good service.
