Came twice for the chicken shashlik and walnut eggplant&mdash;owner&rsquo;s a funny guy, speaks a bunch of languages.

Went to Maia&rsquo;s on a rainy night in Kazbegi. Place was empty, kinda dead vibe. But the kharcho soup was the real deal. Meat was tender, plenty of it, broth had that deep walnut flavor. Bread came warm. Honestly one of the best bowls I had in Georgia. Just note they only do dinner, not lunch.

Nice interior, that big window view is something else. Had the lamb, pretty solid. Ingredients felt fresh, not gonna lie. Bill came out a bit heavy for what it was, but you pay for the setting. Staff was chill, no complaints there.
