Counter service, order and pay up front. Got the spicy chicken bowl, they brought it out in maybe 5 minutes. Quick and easy for a solo lunch.

The trattoria vibe is so cozy, and the staff are genuinely friendly. It's a nice, reliable spot down by the Wharf when you just want a relaxed meal.

Chicken pot pie's got a great flaky crust, and the salad on the side is a nice touch. Solid lunch for under $15.

Solid pub food. The fish and chips were crispy, and the shepherd's pie was quite comforting. Potato croquettes are a good starter. Portions are decent, though the place got a bit loud later on.

The homemade pasta is the move here. Tried the pappardelle with wild boar ragu and the sauce was so rich and hearty. The rigatoni with sausage was good too, but that wild boar... next time I'm just getting a double order of that.

First time trying their breakfast burrito. It’s huge and so flavorful, with a nice spicy kick that wasn't overwhelming. They even split it for us without asking, which was a nice touch.

The hush puppies were fantastic, really crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The whole place just feels so comfortable and relaxed. I had a lovely, easy lunch.

Solid diner spot. The smash burger was cooked just right, and they don't skimp on the fries.

Perfect quick stop on the Lands End trail. Got a turkey sandwich and coffee. Came out fast, hit the spot. Just a heads up, they only take cash.

Been here a few times. The baked Brie is always good, creamy and warm. The beef stew is solid, hearty on a cold day. Place has a nice, relaxed family feel.

Been coming here for years. The garlic wings are solid, love that sweet soy dip. Crab fried rice was a bit plain this time, had to add chili flakes. Still a go-to spot for me.

Been coming here for years. The owners are always in the kitchen, and that consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Came in for a quick bite, ended up staying for the live music. The sambusa was crispy, and the doro wat over that spongy injera hit the spot. Nice, low-key vibe.

The piroshkis are huge, easily a full meal. I got the classic potato & onion and the beef & cheese. The seating is a bit tight, but the staff is very friendly and patient while you decide. A nice, straightforward lunch spot.

The patty melt was pretty good, and the fresh-cut fries were decent. It's a solid spot for a casual meal. I can see why it's been around so long, though the service was a bit slow that evening.

A solid neighborhood spot. Their all-day breakfast is made to order, and the staff is friendly. The house red was a nice, simple pairing for the meal.

Big Barney's burger, medium rare. Perfect quick bite. The French roll holds up well, no soggy mess. Got it to go, still hot when I got back to my desk. Solid lunch.

The staff was super helpful with my food allergy. They double-checked everything and made sure I could relax and enjoy the meal. Really appreciated that attention to detail.

The Italian Combo was a decent sandwich. It's huge, definitely enough for two meals. The mix of meats and cheese was pretty good, and I liked the tangy sauce. A solid choice for a filling lunch.

Love the outdoor seating for a quick lunch. They're super dog-friendly too, which is nice. Service is always quick, even when they're slammed. Got my sandwich and was out in 20 minutes. Perfect for a fast bite.

I keep coming back for the mushroom focaccia. The white cheddar gives it just enough richness without being greasy. For $8, it's a solid lunch on its own. My go-to spot in SF now.

The sausage pizza is a solid choice. Their house red by the glass paired nicely with the savory toppings.

The place feels a bit dark and stuck in time, but I don't mind. It's got this cozy, old-school vibe that I actually liked. The food is definitely the main event here.

Service here is seriously quick. Got seated right away, and our food came out in maybe five minutes. The staff was really nice about it too.

The Thai tea and espresso toffee crunch are the ones to get. The ube was fine, but the flavor was a bit too light for me. I ended up just finishing the other two.

The blackened catfish was really good. Our server was so nice and attentive, which made the meal really pleasant.

That breakfast sandwich was a solid choice. The bacon jam was a nice touch, and the brioche bun was fresh. It's a bit on the pricier side for a sandwich, but the portion is generous enough to keep you full through lunch.

Service was really nice and attentive. They gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal, never felt rushed at all. It made for a very comfortable evening.

The Plow plate is pretty good and filling. Worth the wait for a table, even if it's a bit long on weekends.
