Been coming here for years, and the starters are always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. Had the calamari again last week, still crispy and perfectly seasoned. Just a solid, reliable choice.

Found this spot for a Sunday roast with mates. The roast beef was spot on, and the sides were just right. Staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it for a chilled Sunday catch-up.

Popped in for a pint and ended up trying their own cider. It's really good, fresh and crisp. Staff were nice, even gave us a box for the leftover pizza. Solid spot.

Kenzie was a great server for our large group. Efficient, professional, and knew the menu well. He also shared some interesting facts about the building's history. The setting is cozy, though it got a bit loud when full.

Live music nights and the pub quiz are a lot of fun. Really adds to the relaxed, community vibe here.

Came in for a late Sunday lunch. The crispy chicken wings were spot on, and the steak was cooked just right. Our server Casey was lovely—really friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy. A nice, comfortable spot for a quiet bite.

Steak and ale pie was proper good. Hearty filling, flaky crust. Felt like a proper locals' spot in Burford. Got busy later, glad we booked.

The cider press offers a cool vibe with nice beers on tap, definitely a great place for a bottomless brunch.

Stopped by for a pint and ended up staying for dinner. The steak and ale pie was proper comfort food, really hit the spot on a drizzly evening. Just a classic, no-fuss pub.

The turkey was spot on, moist and flavourful. The sommelier’s suggestion for a medium-bodied Pinot Noir was a great call, really complemented the herbs. Made the whole festive spread feel just right. Good value for the occasion.

The team was so thoughtful about my allergies. They double-checked everything without me having to ask twice. Felt genuinely looked after, which isn't always the case. A really considerate touch.

Love a good local spot! The staff here are so friendly, it really makes you feel welcome. Had the fish and chips everyone talks about, and they were spot on. Proper homemade taste, perfect for a casual catch-up with mates. The vibe is just right for a chilled evening.

This restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere with excellent staff. The food quality is high, and they are accommodating with menu requests, making it a great choice for any meal.

The function room was spot on for our do, and the food was generous.

Good spot for a business lunch. Pork belly and steak pie were solid, portions fair for the price. Service was prompt.

Celebrated a birthday here. Staff were really friendly, made the evening. Food was decent. A bit loud inside though.

The back room was perfect for watching the game. The young server kept the drinks coming without us asking. Menu's huge, but the loaded fries were the standout. Crispy, with just the right amount of cheese and bacon. Could've used a bit more jalapeño kick, though.

The burgers were decent, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Drinks were quick though.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The small plates are tasty and come out fast. Staff are friendly and efficient. Perfect for when you're in a hurry.

A lovely sheltered spot for a sunny winter day. The staff were so attentive, and the drinks were just right.

Great selection of beers on tap. The live music was a nice touch, really added to the vibe. Staff were super friendly. Found the Wii downstairs a bit random, but hey, it's there.

Love this little spot for catching up with friends! The vibe is just right for a relaxed afternoon. Their selection of wines from midday is solid, and they're really good with customising drinks if you have any dietary needs. A nice independent find.

The staff were really friendly and the service was spot on. The chicken night special was lovely, just a shame we were too full for pudding.

Georgia was so attentive, and we never felt rushed even though we had a show after. The service was spot-on.

Perfect spot for meeting up with friends! Right in town centre, and the free car park out back is a lifesaver.

The Guinness is always spot on here, which is a big plus for me. I also like that they have a few real ales and ciders on tap, like the Black Rat. The rum selection looked interesting too, though I haven't tried it yet.

Multiple TVs in different sections, so you can catch your game. Staff were friendly, vibe was good. A solid spot for sports.

The staff are so friendly even when it's packed! We were a big group and they handled it all with a smile, never felt rushed. Made our catch-up dinner so much easier.
