Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Even on a busy Saturday lunch, tables get cleared fast and you're not waiting ages at the bar. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back.

The service was quick and friendly, which was a plus. I liked the independent feel of the place, it wasn't stuffy at all. The vibe is definitely relaxed and welcoming. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but a solid meal.

Chicken supreme and green curry were spot on. Staff squeezed us in on a busy night, which was a lifesaver.

Love the vibe here, proper cosy pub. They’ve got a great selection of local beers on cask. Live music was a nice touch for a Thursday night.

The gin tasting with Toby was so fun! He really knows his stuff and kept it light. Ended with a lovely meal, perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends. The whole thing just flowed nicely.

Great spot for a quick bite. Food's solid gastro-pub fare, comes out fast. The back gin bar is a nice touch.

A dedicated gluten-free menu with daily specials. I'm coeliac, and it's a relief to have clear, safe options without needing a lengthy chat with the server first. The pasta dish I had was solid. Makes planning a business lunch here straightforward.

Had our wedding reception here. Mel, the event coordinator, was a star. The team was on it all night, really attentive. The space itself has such a unique vibe, which was exactly what we wanted.

Matt and the team are good hosts. The pub has a nice vibe for a casual drink. They even kept my forgotten umbrella behind the bar, which was a solid move.

Service was on point. They sorted out a small hiccup with our order really quickly.

The beer selection here is fantastic, loads of taps and a fridge full of proper Belgian stuff. Just the right kind of dim, cosy lighting too, perfect for settling in.

Wanted a quick bite and the vegan options here are solid. Hearty and tasty, even for a non-vegan like me. Got served fast at lunch rush, which is all I needed.

Popped in for the Sunday roast special. The place has a really cosy, lived-in feel - worn leather booths and low lighting. It's the kind of spot you could easily settle into for a few hours. Food was spot on.

Popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for dinner. The fish and chips was massive, couldn't finish it all. Good for the price.

Sam and Bella were lovely, really friendly and made the evening feel relaxed. Good service, they were a bit of a laugh too.

Great selection of local ales. The dark ones from small batches are the best. Music fits the pub vibe perfectly.

A proper old-school pub, feels like stepping back into the 90s. Had the steak and ale pie. The real star was the house red they suggested with it – a solid, earthy Rioja that cut right through the rich gravy. Made the whole thing. Bit of a wait for a table on a Friday, but that's the charm.

The local ales here are spot on. Good value for the quality, and they're on the Cask Marque trail for a reason.

The brewery tour with Max was pretty good. He clearly knows his stuff and the tasting was decent. Just wish it had been a bit longer.

Lovely little local pub, perfect for catching up with mates. The vibe is super cosy, and the food is way better than you'd expect for the price. We had the fish and chips and it was spot on. Will definitely be back for more casual drinks!

The steak and ale pie was the star. So much tender beef, and the pastry was perfectly crisp. We sat by the fireplace, which made it all feel so cozy and warm. A really lovely spot for a quiet dinner.

The staff were great with my food allergy. They checked with the chef and explained everything. Felt safe ordering. Quick and considerate service during a busy lunch.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to when the weather turns - just duck in, grab a table, and they keep the hot tea coming. That's what keeps me coming back.

The halloumi was so good, and the beer garden is a lovely spot for a sunny day.

The hot pasties are the real deal here. Flaky, buttery pastry, packed with a proper meat and veg filling. Grabbed one at the bar with a pint. That's a solid lunch right there.

Angus at the bar was lovely. I always appreciate the fresh ingredients here, especially in the Blue Lagoon. You can really taste the quality. It's a nice, reliable spot for a thoughtful drink.

Brought my friends here for a catch-up. The garden is so nice for a relaxed chat. Could use a couple more veggie dishes though.
