Cosy spot, nice vibe. Ordered the lamb shank, it was £18.50. Honestly, the portion was a bit small for the price. I left feeling like I needed a snack later. The food itself was tasty though.

Parking was a breeze after 5pm, which was a lifesaver for our group. We didn't have to circle the block at all. The ground floor spot is so easy to just walk into. Made meeting up with friends way less stressful!

Been coming here for years, their beef brisket noodle soup is my go-to. The space itself is just really cosy, especially when it's cold out. The lighting's soft and the wooden booths are comfy, makes you want to linger a bit longer.

Been coming here for years. They sometimes slip a little packet of biscuits or something with the bill. It's a small thing, but it's nice. Makes it feel like they actually notice the regulars.

Cozy spot. Had the seafood risotto. Creamy, generous with the prawns. Just the right amount of wine in the sauce. Hit the spot on a rainy evening.

The menu's huge, loads of Hunan and Chongqing options. I went for the spicy fish pot - massive portion for the price, easily fed two of us with leftovers. That's what I call value.

The tabletop grills are a fun idea for a group. Meat quality was pretty good, though the ventilation could be a bit better.

The afternoon tea spread was so pretty and had loads to choose from! Perfect for a catch-up with the girls.

Ordered online for a Friday night, which was pretty straightforward. Everything arrived right on time, even though it seemed busy. The food was decent.

The burger was so juicy and fresh, really hit the spot. The fries though, the portion was absolutely massive, couldn't finish them all! 😅

A lovely spot. The ingredients are so fresh, and the prices are fair. Definitely book ahead though.

The cod had a lovely light batter, almost like tempura. The chips were spot on - crunchy outside, fluffy inside. The portion was huge, easily enough for two. Their house white wine was a surprisingly good match with the fish.

Ordered a few pizzas for a group. They arrived hot and on time, which was great. The toppings were decent and there was a good variety. Everyone seemed pretty happy with it.

The haddock is my usual order here. It's a generous portion, and the fish itself always tastes so fresh. The batter is nice and crispy, which I appreciate. A reliable choice for a fish supper.

Been coming here for years, and the thing I keep coming back for is the consistency. The food's always fresh, portions are generous enough to share. It's just reliably good every time.

The location's spot on, right on the main street. Easy to find and a big plus for me was the large car park just around the corner. Makes popping in for a quick bite so much simpler when you don't have to hunt for a space.

The BBQ spare ribs were tender, as advertised. Good flavour. Service was efficient, they handled a last-minute change to our order well. A solid choice for a business lunch near the office.

The buffet is a solid choice for a casual group dinner. Food comes out fresh, loads of options to please everyone. A bit noisy inside, but that's fine for catching up with mates. Good value for what you get.

A proper old-school caff. The milkshake machine is a classic. Got my bacon sarnie and a cuppa in under five minutes. Exactly what you need for a quick bite. Staff were sound.

The vegan pizza was a nice surprise, with sun-dried tomatoes that were spot on. They swapped the cheese for a plant-based one without any fuss. Had a local cider with it, decent choice.

Really friendly service here, they were on top of things without being overbearing. It just made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy. A nice change of pace!

Stopped in for a quick bite. The place is tiny but has a really cosy, homemade feel. Loved the decor, it's cute and makes the whole spot feel welcoming. Just a nice, simple spot.

Great spot for tapas. The staff were lovely and the courtyard is perfect for a sunny lunch. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the charcuterie board.
