The red salsa tasted like ketchup or maybe bbq sauce and I&#39;ve never heard of putting thick slices of tomatoes on nachos. Did not strike me as authentic. My kid said her carne asada taco was the laziest taco she&#39;d ever had. Meat on tortilla only. Not even a lime. There were strips of skirt steak and limp cooked scallions on the side of the tortillas. I will offer props on the skirt steak strips. Those were good. As far as service goes, we were denied a different, nearby table for 2 because an imaginary party of &quot;14&quot; was going to show up and needed it. The host kept us at the table by the swinging kitchen door with me sitting halfway in the hall. 10-15 mins later a single man, a martini drinking regular, sat at the table we had preferred. Also, the margarita was meh, all ice. 1 star for the quality of meat and a star for our actual server, who seemed like a sweet guy. It was a really disappointing experience in a dark, cramped, spendy restaurant. Or maybe I&#39;m just spoiled because my hometown, Redwood City, has some boss Mexican food.

Nice bright spot with a clean, airy vibe. The skylights are a cool touch, makes it feel open and not cramped. Just grabbed a quick coffee and a pastry, good for a chill afternoon.

Been coming here for years, and their cappuccino is the reason. It&#39;s just consistently good. The foam is always right, not too bitter. That&#39;s what keeps me coming back.

The portions are huge for the price. Had the chicken curry, it was okay, but you definitely leave full. Good spot when you just need a quick, filling meal.

Their clam chowder is really good. It&#39;s super creamy, not too thick, and they don&#39;t skimp on the clams at all. I found a good amount in every spoonful. A solid bowl.

The scones here are exceptional. They&rsquo;re some of the best I&rsquo;ve had outside the UK. Flaky, warm, served with clotted cream and jam. That&rsquo;s pretty much all I care about.

The carnitas tacos are pretty good. As a Mexican, I can vouch for their authenticity. My go-to spot when I&#39;m craving a taste of home.
