We both chose a special item - the aubergine lasagne.  It was really very good.  We&#39;ve been coming to the Maybury on and off for nearly 20 years - and it&#39;s been up and down.  The beers have usually been lager, lager or lager - and the food has seldom been something special.  However ... something seems to have changed for the better.  They were serving Timothy Taylor Landlord - which was bright, clear and flavoursome.  The Italian house white was also very good.  It&#39;s hard to believe how much better this pub has become.

Nice cosy pub for a quiet meal. Had the fish and chips. The portion was generous, definitely enough for two. Felt like good value for the price. Would come back just for that.

The pulled pork and fish tacos were a solid lunch. Quick service, got my order in under 5 minutes. Flavours were spot on, really hit the spot with a cold beer. Perfect for a quick bite.

Good and friendly service. Not many people there but we were able to sit outside and the food was brought to us although we had to order at the bar inside. The food was good quality &amp; the bar staff &amp; table staff were efficient and friendly.

Lovely canalside spot, perfect for a chilled drink watching the boats. My Aperol spritz was &pound;14 though, which felt a bit steep for what it was. Nice for a one-off treat, but you&#39;re definitely paying for the view.

The cheese and ham toastie is my new favourite. They make it fresh, so the bread is perfectly crispy and the cheese is all melty. Staff were really attentive too, checking in just at the right moment.

Decided to try their breakfast on a whim. The eggs benedict were spot on, runny yolk and all. Feels like a proper little find tucked away here. Coffee was decent too.

Really good menu with a good selection, and the food we chose was really lovely. The service was nicely paced by friendly helpful staff. There&rsquo;s a good ambiance as it&rsquo;s not too noisy, and the tables are nicely spaced.

Tried the Sunday roast for the first time. The pork was spot on, really generous portion with loads of fresh veg. Felt like a proper meal.

The dim sum was so fresh! We shared a few baskets with friends and it was just right for a casual catch-up. The prawn dumplings were especially good. Staff were really friendly, which made the whole vibe relaxed.

The upstairs pool room is a great spot. Four tables, and having our own jukebox was a nice touch. Just right for a relaxed game with mates. The felt on the table could use a bit of a refresh, but it didn&#39;t ruin the fun.

Simply outstanding. From the moment of our arrival to our departure, the team at Ten Tables were exemplary. The Filament Bar is a delight and the actual restaurant lovely - intimate and quiet - but, as one would hope, the food is the star of the show. Delicious, flavourful, beautifully presented and Chef absolutely deserves all the praises being heaped upon them. It&rsquo;s not the most extensive menu but there is something for everyone - the venison was sublime. All this topped off by the most delightful, courteous and professional staff. I&rsquo;d love not to submit this review to keep this hidden gem hidden but they deserve so much recognition and success and I would suggest that anyone who loves exceptional food should seek out Ten Tables. For sure, we will be back. Highly recommended.

A nice spot to settle in for a morning of work. The coffee is decent, and they have a few good pastries. It&#39;s a pleasant, quiet space. The tables are a bit small for a laptop, but it&#39;s fine.

Love the hobby days here! Perfect for catching up with friends and trying something new. The veggie soup is a nice touch.
