Delicious Sunday Roast. Service once seated was extremely attentive. The booking system confused me though; I booked via thefork, then received a "confirmed" status email. The Albany emailed back to say a booking couldn't be made. I received another email saying the booking was confirmed once more, so went to the Albany at the scheduled time only to find the booking was not made after all. I managed to get a seat with friends in the end but going forward it would be good to improve how bookings are handled.

We ordered a takeaway and despite several phone calls, our delivery was an hour and a half late. The driver just said ‘sorry’ and left. The food was cold, by then I didn’t have the energy to send it back. I emailed the restaurant as I felt I deserved a better explanation and would have appreciated a partial refund. They didn’t reply, so all I can say rubbish service and won’t order from there again

The pilau rice was nice, the samosas nice. The chicken tikka masala was odd, dark like a rogan josh rather than red or orange like a tikka masala. The Bombay potatoes weren’t nice, they tasted like they were tinned potatoes- but they weren’t small like tinned tomatoes are - so maybe not. The nan was stone cold by the time it was delivered and I opened it.

Waited nearly 2 hrs for a takeaway and tried ringing them 42times not acceptable. Salad for the starter was cooked lettuce and in a pile of water, chicken tikka was ok lots of onion though, and the second starter was wrong , this is the 2nd time they’ve got the order wrong , main dishes very bland and the tikka massalla was all coconut making mouth really dry, a real shame used to be a good takeaway, but won’t be using them again
