Been going here for years, it's a proper local. Staff know your name, and the prices haven't gone mad like other places. Live music on Fridays is a nice touch, keeps the place lively.

The restaurant is hard to book. I have to come back during lunch time to try out the restaurant. I have orders seafood spaghetti and lobster ravioli. The lobster ravioli is made using fresh pasta and is very tasty. The waiters are enthusiastic, highly recommend to visit and visiting Westcliff.

The grilled salmon had a really nice crispy skin, and the dill sauce was lovely. The veggies were cooked just right too. The whole place just feels so calm and airy, with all the natural light and plants.

The chicken dansak was the star for me - the sauce had this incredible depth of flavour, not too sweet, just right. The staff were lovely and checked in without being overbearing. A really nice spot for a casual dinner.

Good spot for a quick bite in the park. Pizza was hot and ready fast, exactly what you need between rides. Plenty of topping choices too. Friendly staff kept the line moving.

The seafood paella was lovely, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Perfect for a sunny terrace lunch.

The chicken curry was a bit too fiery for my taste. Mentioned it to the server, and they swapped it out for a milder version, no questions asked. Quick and easy fix.

The fish is consistently excellent here. The chips, however, can be hit or miss - sometimes a bit under-seasoned or not as crispy as the fish deserves. It's a reliable spot for the classic meal.

A solid family-run chippy. Fish is fresh, chips are excellent. Good value for the area. The upstairs seating is a real plus - spacious and quiet, a proper place to sit down. Makes a difference compared to other takeaway spots.

The food here is consistently pretty good. It's a decent option for a reliable meal in the area and the value is fair. The pasta I had last time was a solid choice.

It was my Grandson's First Birthday - we had been eating sausage Rolls and sandwiches all day but by the evening needed a proper meal !! We read reviews and it sounded good so we gave it a try. We are not local so it was our first time. We have been to various carveries before but I have to say your food was the best I had eaten at this type of Restaurant. All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.

Always packed, but they squeezed us in for a group catch-up. The menu's got loads of options for my veggie and gluten-free friends, which is a lifesaver. Made it so easy to just relax and chat.

First time in Canterbury, picked this spot. Owner was super friendly, food was bellissimo! Good wine selection too.

The lamb vindaloo had a good kick to it, not too overpowering. Staff were friendly and knew their menu, which helped. Solid choice for a curry night.

We come here often. The staff are always so friendly, and the booths are really comfortable for a relaxed meal.

A proper old pub, love the history here. The outdoor seating is a treat in summer, perfect for a pint.

Proper English pub on a quiet lane. Had a pint and read my book for an hour. Just the right relaxed vibe for that. Staff were friendly without being over the top.

Pav and the team were so welcoming. They actually knew the menu inside out, which was a nice surprise. Made the whole thing feel really easy and relaxed.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The cod was fresh, chips nice and thick. Got my order in under 5 minutes, which is exactly what I needed. A reliable spot for fish and chips when you're in a hurry.

Got in super late after the ferry. They were still open, which was a lifesaver. The chicken shashlik was really tender, and the naan was fresh. Beers were properly cold. Solid spot for a late meal.

Ivana was lovely, really made us feel welcome. The service was a bit slow at times, but it was a nice evening overall.

Just popped in for a quick drink with a friend. Ordered on the app and it was at our table in minutes. Perfect for a spontaneous catch-up when you don't want a whole meal. The vibe was nice and relaxed.

Great spot for a pre-theatre meal. Service was quick and friendly, got us out in plenty of time. The steak was cooked just right, though the chips were a bit on the salty side. Would pop in again before a show.

Collins at the bar really knew his stuff. He suggested a cocktail I'd never have ordered myself, and it was spot on. Great energy behind the bar too, kept things lively. A real pro.

The peri peri chips were a standout for me. They had a generous coating of seasoning, and the potatoes tasted really fresh. It's nice to see a place that doesn't skimp on quality ingredients. The portion was decent too.

The small fish and chips were fresh and not greasy at all. Nice to see a senior option that doesn't compromise on quality ingredients.

Popped in for lunch on a rainy afternoon. The cold mezze platter was spot on, and they had a decent house red that paired nicely with it. Kids' meals were a hit too. Staff were friendly and quick, which was appreciated.

Convenient spot if you're at the Tudor Park Marriott, just a short walk. Had the fish and chips. The batter was crisp but the chips were a bit soggy. Decent for a quick bite near the hotel.

Tried the plant-based Butter Bean Stufato. It was a proper hearty dish, really hit the spot on a chilly evening. Felt full for hours after. Good portion for the price, too.
