My superficial understanding is that it is a cold meal of various air-dried meat slices + cheese + grapes and other fruits + wine. There were also roasted chestnuts during the meal. Sitting around the long table with everyone, eating this unique Brisolée, it was wonderful to be slightly tipsy.
