TheForkUserI have been coming here for over 20 years. The food is always great. My favourite entree is spicy crab and favourite main is Balti Lamb. Generous portions and always too much food. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the inner city.

TheForkUserFabulous evening of pasta and wine. Lighting had improved since last visit so clearly the restaurant had listened to my last review. The only fault was listening to the wait staff clean the cutlery loudly whilst still dining. We will return!

Malabar South Indian Restaurant

TheForkUserWe took some friends visiting from WA. They loved it and of course, so did we. We had the Masala Dosai, Railway Chicken, Goan Fish Curry and Lamb Varutha for something different to our usual. All so delicious. Booking again for next week!

TheForkUserOur favorite local little gem of a restaurant, always busy because it’s so good so a good idea to book ahead. Love the zucchini. Flowers, pizzas & my all time favorite, the seafood spaghetti and it’s a big serve.

TheForkUserFood was great, service via iPad quick and staff super friendly and helpful. Quite a noisy buzz about the place (which is really well decorated - felt like we were back in Japan) which by the end of our meal was a bit much for us as it seemingly got louder and louder. Doesn’t detract from the meal and the service though both of which were top notch! Their sake selection is amazing and we really enjoyed the 300ml one that we had (can’t remember which - it was $33 and worth it!)

TheForkUserReally excellent food. The king fish was great the pizza excellent, the sides and desserts. Couldn’t fault it really other than the fact that it is a bit noisy when it gets full. We will be back I’m sure.
