Desserts are their specialty, but they don’t have alcoholic drinks. They actually have two stores in the country.
After finishing the two-day trip in Istanbul, we flew to our next destination, Izmir. The flight time was only one hour, so we went to the hotel first after arriving, Swissotel Buyuk Efes Izmir. The hotel is by the sea, and the small balcony of the guest room faces the seaside promenade. Unfortunately, it was cloudy today, so we couldn't see the blue Aegean Sea. After putting down the luggage, we went to the [Clock Tower] for lunch. The clock tower was built in 1901 and has a very delicate shape. It is a city landmark and a representative of the city center, and next to it is the government building. On one side of the square where the clock tower is located is a busy commercial street, and on the other side is a seaside promenade. After lunch, we strolled along the beach, and then officially opened the holiday mode in Turkey. Izmir is indeed a slow-paced city. There are old people fishing on the beach, lovers talking about love, jogging, cycling, and lying lazily on the lawn, but no hurried pedestrians were seen. We also ran into a group of elementary school students who came over enthusiastically to take photos. First, we took a group photo, then took individual photos one by one, and they also gave me fruits and snacks to eat. I really enjoyed the star treatment. There are many restaurants and cafes on the seaside trail. I finally had the opportunity to try Turkey's NO.1 ice cream "MADO". The pistachio flavor is delicious and the chocolate flavor is also very rich. After strolling on the beach, there is still time to see the famous local [Big Elevator]. The Big Elevator has a history of 100 years. It is said that it was built by a wealthy Jewish businessman for the convenience of the neighbors. It has never been charged for 100 years. There is also a famous Turkish musician in the alley where the Big Elevator is located. Now his statue is still standing at the entrance of the alley in front of the Big Elevator. If you have enough time, you can actually spend more time at the Big Elevator. Because whether it is the cafe in the alley downstairs or the observation deck after taking the elevator up, it is quite suitable for sitting and dazed. Especially this open-air observation deck, the view is great, the scattered red-roofed buildings are surrounded by the blue Aegean Sea, very charming. Just drink a cup of Turkish coffee here and wait for the sunset slowly. In this way, time is not wasted... #五一旅行任意门 #跟宮崎哈奥遊欧洲
