TheForkUserThe duck dish I suggest it to anyone visiting Tirano. It’s very reachable by foot. was classic and the wine was delicious. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. Our server spoke English and was very helpful. This could be a restaurant in a world class city!

TheForkUserNice lake view if you sit outside in the gazebo.We arrived at 9pm after checking in to our rooms at the attached hotel. Food took over 45 mins to arrive from the point of order (except for the Margherita pizza). The mixed fish gratin was cold to taste; the clam pasta has been under the heat lamp for a while as the top layer of pasta is dried. One of the prawns on the mixed fish grill is under-cooked (still grey on some parts).The waiters all looked really tired and busy, clearly understaffed on the night of our visit. I suspected that our food was waiting for some time to be brought to our table as the waiters were all busy.When we pay the bill I explained to the waiter what happened to our food and he was apologetic and offered us free desserts. However it was too late and we were all too tired from the traveling.Overall quite disappointed as we come to stay at this hotel for this restaurant due to the good reviews.

TheForkUserVery honest local cuisine. The cheeses are produced by them and are delicious, not to miss! We had also the pizzoccheri, tagliata, local saudage, and tiramisù all very tasteful. The ambience is casual. You should definitely choose this place if you want an authentic casual experience of local plates. Will come back when in the area.
