Grilled fish and seafood platter were both fresh and well-prepared. Quality is consistent every time I visit. Service is efficient, which suits a quick business lunch. Convenient location near the office.

The halloumi burger was a bit dry, which was a shame. But the fries were spot on - crispy and salty. The all-day breakfast plate I had was actually really tasty.

Service was really good, staff were super friendly and made our group feel welcome. Perfect for a casual catch-up!

Sat outside. Portions are huge. The burger was really good, juicy. Friendly service. Nice on a sunny day.

The lamb rogan josh had this incredible depth. The spices were layered, not just hot. The meat fell apart after simmering for hours, you could tell. A bit pricey for the portion, but the flavour was spot-on.

Cozy spot with a proper fireplace, which was lovely on a cold evening. The wine list is decent and the vibe is relaxed. Just a nice, warm place to sit for a while.

Quick lunch spot with friendly staff. They were cool with my dog. Good portions, lots of cheese on everything.

The chicken bites with their house-made hot sauce are fantastic. What really stood out was the delivery – the fries were still perfectly crispy when they arrived. That’s a nice touch.

Friendly staff and a good selection of vegan dishes for the group. Makes it easy to pick a spot everyone's happy with.

Been coming here for years. The sushi's always fresh, you can tell just by looking at it. I like sitting at the bar to watch them work. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Been coming here for years. The garden out back is what keeps me coming back - just a great spot for a quiet pint. Always feels the same, which is exactly what you want from a local.

Came here for a friend's birthday. Our waiter Apu was so lovely, really made the night for us. The vibe was perfect for a group catch-up, not too loud so we could actually chat. Food was tasty, no complaints there. A nice spot for a celebration with mates.

The burgers are solid, quick lunch fix. But the loaded fries... had them once and they were cold and way too salty. Shame, because everything else hits the spot when you're in a rush.

The tempura wasn't served separately, so it lost its crispness by the time it reached the table. Shame, as the batter itself tasted good.

Been to a few vegan spots, but this one really impressed me. The seitan was particularly good, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the sauces. Everything tasted so nice, I couldn't even pick a favourite dish.

Solid spot for a quick bite. The burger was decent, nothing fancy. Real draw is the friendly bar staff – they're quick and keep things moving. Perfect for a fast lunch.

The portion sizes here are generous, especially the ice cream sundae. It was a nice, big dessert that felt like a proper treat without breaking the bank. The booth seating was also very comfortable.

Had my birthday dinner with a big group. The staff were so attentive, really made the day. The food was good, but I particularly noticed how fresh the ingredients were in the salads and grilled fish. Everything felt light and well-balanced.

Decent Chinese takeaway, been ordering for years. Food's usually ready in 20 minutes.

The ice cream here is really good. I got the salted caramel flavour and it was spot on. Probably the best I've had in Canterbury, honestly.

Goan fish curry was lovely, full of flavour. The salmon kebabs were perfectly cooked, not dry at all. Just a really solid, tasty meal.

Popped in for a Sunday roast. Got a full plate with everything for under a sixer. Place was packed with locals, had a nice buzz. The gravy was proper.

Lunch after the castle. Went for the seafood platter. It was tasty, but honestly, for the price, I expected a bit more on the plate. Felt a little light for what we paid.

Lovely quiet garden at the back, away from the main road. Perfect for a sunny afternoon pint. Just a heads up, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side for a pub.

Been coming here for years. The service is always quick, even on a busy Friday night. My pint's on the table before I've settled in. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Nice, calm spot for a drink. Service was friendly and didn’t rush us at all, which was perfect. Just sat there for a good while, felt really relaxed.
