Nice food and a very kind and patient lady made our evening memorable, she is the star of the restaurant;

this is the best restaurant in the area and we visit regularly. The food is great, the staff very pleasant and the location

Pleasant lunch in what must have been a leading city centre hotel. Service was excellent in a rear garden with attractive wisteria canopy. Food choice maybe rather simple and limited for lunch but okay on a sunny day. Hopefully a more sophisticated menu for evening meals. We have often stopped here for s coffee whilst visiting and it's a lovely decor to appreciate.

The cognac list is seriously impressive, with some world-famous labels. Food was tender and tasty too.

The lunch special's grilled beef was just right, juicy and tender. The fried potatoes had that perfect crisp. Felt like a proper meal, not rushed. Wine list had some nice options too, a bit pricey but solid.

Been here a few times now. The online booking is super easy. Honestly, the food is just really good and doesn't break the bank. That's why I don't mind the long drive to get here.

Vegan pizza with artichoke and pineapple was a pleasant surprise. Solid choice.

Nice little spot. Tables are well set, feels cozy. The food is solid, good quality. Prices are fair for what you get. A bit on the quiet side, but that's fine.

The food is nicely presented and tastes pretty good. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly. A solid choice for a casual meal.

As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the dedicated option on the menu. The staff really understood my needs. The wine list had a nice organic red that paired well with the earthy flavors of the dish. A solid find for a plant-based meal with a good drink.

The seafood was pretty good, fresh and well-prepared. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A solid choice if you're in the area.

The staff were so kind and professional when I brought in a homemade cake. They didn't make a fuss, just quietly arranged everything. It felt thoughtful, not performative. Made the evening really nice.

Excellent food and service. We had sea bream expertly prepared. We will come back as Niort is our usual stopover.

Open seven days a week, which is so helpful. I popped in for a late lunch today and it was just right—not too busy. The staff was friendly and didn't rush me at all, which I really value. A comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Birthday lunch, but honestly the seafood stole the show. So fresh, and the portions were huge. The Chardonnay was ice cold, which was perfect on a hot day. Staff were really nice about it too.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The grilled meat platter was huge, honestly couldn't finish it all. Frites were crispy and hot. Solid spot for the price.

Nice lunch on the terrace. The main course and dessert were both good for the price.

Calzone was incredible. Best one I've had in ages. So much flavor. Worth every penny for the quality.

Cozy spot, good tunes. The decor is unique, feels like a chill living room. Family-friendly vibe, kids were welcome.

The owner really made our visit special. She took the time to explain the vegetarian options, which were more creative than I expected. We tried the lentil and mushroom pie—it was hearty and flavorful. A lovely, personal touch you don't see often.

Made the trip out here and it really paid off. The setting is lovely, service was warm, and the food tasted just right. Felt like a home away from home. Only thing is, the portions were a bit smaller than expected for the price.

Solid menu, and the mussels and fries were a hit for sharing. Good quality ingredients, made it easy to catch up with friends.

The spices are so fresh and vibrant! Really appreciate that they adjust the heat to order. A great spot for a healthy, quick lunch.

A family-run place, you can feel the warmth. The owners are so kind, it really makes a difference. The food is just... exceptional. Simple, but done so well. Definitely book ahead, it's small and cozy.

Been coming here for lunch for years. The set menu's still 25 euros, which is fair. Today's daily special was a solid choice, just like always.

Friendly staff, really efficient. They were patient with my broken French too. Just makes the whole meal feel relaxed.

The old cinema lobby is such a cool space. Really unique. I liked that the tables weren't on top of each other, felt relaxed. Food was good, but the service was a bit slow that night. Still, a nice spot.
