This is a quirky restaurant with eclectic decor &amp; a great view of the river. The food was excellent. The crab cakes were delicious, not the best I&#39;ve had but I&#39;d go back again if I&#39;m in Bangkok, it was excellent. The pasta with lamb was also delicious, lots of lamb and the pasta was just the right amount. The service was great, although we were there early for dinner so there weren&#39;t many people.

3-4 starsWe got a business lunch package, so we chose from a set menu. We had butterfly pea salad (not recommended- like eating a bowl of fried tempura batter), Tom yum soup, crab omelette, and dessert.The soup was wonderful, with complex sour flavor. We loved the big chunks of crab in the omelette and the crispy fried edges- so delicious. the desserts were perfect for the hot weather- first flan with sorbet and then fruit and syrup and ice - very refreshing!The soda drinks were free flow but they were not very good. Too sweet! I wish we had ordered pressed juice instead.

This time, during my star-hunting journey, I chose the newly-received Japanese-French restaurant. After staying at the Tokyo Grand Hotel, I became even more fascinated with Japanese-French cuisine. The 12-course meal wasn&#39;t particularly impressive, but the dining experience was impressive, especially the desserts, which were a pleasant surprise. My favorites were the amberjack (a perfectly cooked, crispy fish), Tokyo X (despite being pork, it was more delicious than beef), and the beef curry (a simple, delicious Japanese curry served with beef rice). All three desserts were excellent, including the mikan (a dessert often described as the chef&#39;s most proud creation), and the kinome (a truly outstanding dish), topped with wild chili leaves that added a touch of flavor. I also ordered a glass of French Sauvignon Blanc, which had almost no acidity, but had a sweet, honeyed aroma that complemented the dish perfectly.

At just 1,000 baht per person, it was excellent value. Perfect for those tired of spicy Thai food and wanting to try Japanese-French cuisine.
