Stumbled onto this place by the river and honestly the setting alone got me. Peaceful, pretty, just nice to sit there. Food felt like proper homemade cooking, nothing fancy but real. The couple running it were warm and made it easy to relax. Wish I lived closer, would come back just for that calm vibe.

Decent spot for lunch around here. The set menu is reasonably priced and portions are pretty generous. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Only small thing - the decor feels a bit tired, but it didn't bother me much. Fine for a casual meal if you're in the area.

We had an amazing massage before our delicious dinner at la Piazzetta! It was all fantastic! Thank you :)

Finally got to try this place after staring at it from our hotel balcony all week. The menu's got some creative stuff going on, ingredients tasted fresh. Service was quick and the staff seemed genuinely nice. Even our dog got a warm welcome, which was a plus. Pretty solid dinner overall.

We went for the set menu for two and honestly, that was plenty. The food was solid, but what really stuck with me was the seating. The chairs are those low wooden ones, and after an hour my back was starting to complain. Service was quick though, even with the place packed.

Gluten-free pizza actually held up well, decent crust and taste. Marco took good care of us without hovering. Place was busy but fine.

Loved the venison here — super tender and full of flavor. The house wine is a nice touch, made from grapes grown right behind the place. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, so we couldn't linger too long. Still, really solid spot. 🍷

The grilled octopus paired beautifully with a crisp white wine — simple menu, solid seafood, no fuss.

The pistachio cake was the highlight. Seriously good, one of the best I've had. Pizzas were solid too, thin and crispy crust. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I was in a rush. Place was a bit busy but fine for a quick bite. Would go back for that cake again.

Been coming here for a while now. The beetroot risotto still gets me every time—creamy, not too heavy, and the color is just stunning. Service stays consistent too, which I appreciate. It’s near the marina, easy to find. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but I keep coming back for that dish.

The coffee was decent, nothing crazy. Had a slice of the cake too, it was moist enough. Staff opened early for us because of the rain, that was nice of them. But honestly, I just came for the food. The cake did the job.

Lovely little spot in Lugano with a pergola-covered garden. Had a great lunch there—decent mix of local and ethnic dishes, prices fair. Staff were friendly too.

The risotto was lovely, and the staff made sure I was comfortable. Pricey, but the lake view is hard to beat.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place looks great, warm vibe. Menu’s got some creative stuff. Service was on point, didn’t have to wait long for the bill. Solid spot if you’re in the area and want something decent without the fuss.

The daily thali here was fresh and felt properly healthy—loved the mix of veggies. Spice level’s pretty mild though, so don’t expect a kick. Sat in the courtyard, which was a nice break from the main square noise. Solid pick if you’re around Locarno and want something light.

Solid pizza at a fair price, just outside the center. The owner was around checking on tables, which I appreciated. Nice to find a place that runs smoothly without any fuss.

Stopped by for lunch near the old town. Pasta was solid, pizza decent too. Prices felt fair for the area. Parking right there is a plus.

Stopped here for lunch right on the Piazza Grande. Caprese and prosciutto pizza were solid, Aperol Spritz did the job. Good spot to just sit and watch people go by. Service was fine, nothing special. Prices are a bit touristy but you're paying for the location. Wouldn't go out of my way but it worked for a quick bite.

Stopped by for lunch after walking around the old town. Got a table by the window, view of the castle walls is pretty great. Food was solid, nothing crazy but tasty. Service kept it easy, no hovering. Place is small though, maybe 8 tables, so booking ahead makes sense. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The courtyard is lovely on a sunny day, really sheltered and quiet. Food felt fresh, local produce for sure. I had the apple pie—nice and light, not too sweet. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price. Still, a pleasant spot if you're after something simple and fresh.

Food was solid and came out fast. Got the lunch special, decent portion for the price. Place was a bit noisy but for a quick bite it works.

Came for a business lunch, had the saddle of venison. Cooked well, sides like chestnuts and spätzle worked nicely. 50 francs feels fair for the quality. Service was efficient, no complaints.

Quick lunch here was solid. Got the pasta, service was fast enough for a work break. Place has a nice modern feel, nothing fancy but it works.

Loved the homely vibe here 🌿 The food felt really authentic and the staff were so sweet. Great spot to chill outside with friends for a slow lunch.

Came here for a quick lunch. Food was solid, service actually pretty attentive. Place looks a bit tired though, could use a refresh. Not complaining, just saying. Got what I needed and left. Fine for what it is.

Gluten-free pizza was actually decent. Crust had a good crisp to it, stayed soft inside. Nice to see a place take dietary needs seriously without making it feel like a compromise. I'd go back for that.

The tagliatelle with porcini was good, no complaints there. But honestly, for the price, the portion felt a bit small. I get that you're paying for the lake view and the outdoor seating, which is nice, but I still left a little hungry. Fine for a one-off relaxed lunch, just don't come starving.

The mixed grill was solid—big portions, decent polenta with mushrooms. Ticino Merlot went well with it. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked.
