Been coming here for years, and the lunch deal is still the main reason. A proper full-sized pizza for that price, even when they're packed. It's just reliable.

The curry sauce is always spot on. Thick and full of flavour, never watery. That's why I keep coming back.

The team here are just so lovely. Our server remembered my name from a visit a few months back, which was a really nice touch. They're attentive without hovering, you know? Makes a difference.

Been here a few times now. Portions are generous for the price, and it's always a decent meal. Food comes out fast, which is a plus. Never had a bad dish, it's just solid.

Plenty of parking. Great to find such variety on a pub menu, available online at the Vintage Inns site, along with any allergy details for which you may need to allow. Driving today, so was not able to sample the Doom Bar beer. Pepsi Max and Fruity fizzy drinks, instead. Well chilled. Chose the Crab Cake starter & Moroccan Chicken skewers. Food was perfectly prepared with fantastic taste. Fairly quiet early on a Monday evening, but still a pleasant environment with gentle background music. Not the best weather this evening, but noted the outdoor seating is well furnished and extensive for a hot, sunny day. A couple of steps down to the main restaurant area, but the Inn had noted our booking requirements and had thankfully allocated us a table in the quiet part of the upper area.

Lovely spot for a village pub. The lamb burger was spot on, and the cheese chips were a nice touch. My steak came with a decent red wine suggestion that really worked. Kids ate well too. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the location.

I’ve got gluten and dairy issues, and they handled it really well. My husband tried their burger and couldn’t stop talking about it. Solid spot for dietary needs.

Best chip butty I've had in ages, honestly. The bread was spot on. Washed it down with a surprisingly decent pint of lager, which cut through the richness perfectly. A proper little lunch.

Popped in for a late dinner. The grilled sea bass was spot on, and the staff suggested a lovely white wine that complemented it beautifully. The garden area is much nicer now, perfect for a relaxed evening. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years, and their curry is still the best in town. Always packed, but they never rush you.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The seafood platter was delicious, and there's plenty of space for a group. Staff were really friendly too.

Booked a large group, staff were really welcoming. The food was spot on, especially the roast. Pub has a nice modern country feel.

Love the hot sandwiches here, especially the chicken pesto. The bread is always fresh and the fillings are super generous. Grabbed one for lunch today and it hit the spot.

It does get busy, but the tables are spaced nicely so you don't feel packed in. A relaxed spot for a quiet meal.

We had a lovely lunch in the nice old dining hall. The staff looked after my elderly parents brilliantly.Nothing was a problem Food was perfect and service top notch Thank youDavid 👏👏👏

The Sunday roast was the star. The beef was tender, cooked just right, and the gravy had a proper depth of flavour. The vegan option was solid too, with a good nut roast. Could have done with a few more roast potatoes, but the ones they had were crispy and fluffy inside.

Nice spot by the river. Staff were really friendly—they even suggested another place for lunch when they'd run out of savoury stuff.

Booked ahead for a quiet dinner. The space is lovely and intimate. What stood out was the service—they were attentive without being overbearing, made you feel genuinely looked after. A nice, relaxed spot.

The arancini were really good, and the focaccia was fresh. A decent spot for a quiet dinner with a glass of wine. It was a bit on the pricey side, but I had a nice evening.

The rib eye was beautifully seasoned and seared. We did ask for it to be cooked a bit more, but it still arrived quite rare. The staff were very kind about it though, and the booth seating was really comfortable.

The buffalo pizza dough had that lovely, chewy texture you want. The mozzarella was fresh and creamy. A proper taste of Naples, right here. Just a shame the crust got a little soft in the middle.

The portions are really generous for the price. You get a lot of fresh, good quality food.

The rhubarb crumble was fantastic, and the sommelier's wine pairing suggestion was spot on. Really lifted the whole dessert.
