The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and my kids and I had a lovely time. The air con however was a little cold but they turned it down when they realised. The seats need some TLC and it's not very pram friendly but the staff went over and above to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible.

Nice quiet spot for a Saturday lunch. The building is easy to get into, and the disabled loo is right by the entrance.

The afternoon tea was nice, but the wine pairing felt a bit off.

The pre-ordered group menu was handled really well. The staff had some nice wine pairing suggestions that worked perfectly with the courses.

Popped in for a late lunch just before they closed. The steak frites were spot on, and the staff were really chill about us lingering. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the beef – a solid, unpretentious choice.

Came here for a casual dinner with mates. The food is reliably good, and the house red they suggested actually paired nicely with the steak. Prices are fair.

The Sunday roast deal is a steal at £10. The beef was really tender, and the chicken portion was huge. Everything came out super quick, which was nice. The place itself is quite cosy, with these big wooden tables that make it feel really relaxed.

Sunday carvery. Good roast for the price. The guy at the counter is always friendly, works hard.

Chandre and Gary were attentive throughout. They checked in regularly without being intrusive, and the service was efficient. Made the evening run smoothly.

Always a good time here. Grabbed a pint and a burger after work, the vibe is just right for a casual catch-up. The staff are friendly without being overbearing.

The oxtail was tasty and the chips were great, but I was really impressed by how fresh the vegetables tasted. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

Quiz night was packed, decent vibe. Becky and Lilly were on it, really attentive with the drinks. My burger was solid, but the chips could've been crispier. Good spot for a casual pint and a bite.

Been coming here for years. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back - the food's always solid, exactly what you expect. That family-run warmth is genuine, doesn't feel forced. A proper local spot you can count on.

The hanging kebab was a fun presentation. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted.

I had a fabulous afternoon tea at The Ivy, where the food was delightful and the staff were fantastic. The chocolate cake served in a plant pot was a fun surprise, and the desserts were simply delicious. A truly wonderful experience!

A nice traditional pub with a cosy fireplace. The garden is pleasant, though it got a bit crowded.

First time trying the Lamb Cawl here. It was so rich and hearty, really hit the spot on a damp evening. The broth had a deep, savoury flavour that was just right.

Food came quick and tasted good. Drinks were decently priced, especially for the city centre. Not a bad spot to grab a bite.
