The octopus salad was pretty good—fresh, but a bit too much potato for the price. Veggie risotto turned out better than expected. Decent spot for a casual meal.

The grilled lamb was solid, and their homemade wine paired better than I expected. Terrace view over the water is the real draw here. Prices are fair for Hvar, though service moves at island pace.

The terrace view really is something, especially when the sun starts going down. Food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were lovely. Just wish we had a bit more time to sit and enjoy it.

Nice terrace for watching the street go by. Got a bit smoky from the kitchen and seating's tight, but the food made up for it.

Great food and big portions for the price. Waiters were nice, even brought water for our dog. View is lovely but the seats were damp from the beach.

Cash only, and the owner let us pay the next day when we forgot. That kind of trust is rare. Food was solid, but honestly the prices felt a bit high for what you get.

Great tapas and the owner was super friendly. Prices felt fair for what you got. Nice spot to just chill for a while.

Tried the spicy burger and a tortilla here — both solid for a quick bite. 38kn for a tortilla in a tourist town is pretty fair. Place gets busy but food comes fast.

Halal chicken in Split — this place checks out. Meat’s from Slovenia, they even showed the certificate. Fresh, decent flavor, staff friendly. Solid stop if you’re in the area.

Lovely spot by the marina, and the fish plate for two was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

The spaghetti vongole tasted incredibly fresh—better than what I had in Sicily, honestly. Sat near the open front and caught a nice marina breeze while eating. Service was polite, nothing to complain about.

The fish and salads were really good, and the view is gorgeous. Service was friendly too. Just keep in mind they only take cash, which caught me off guard.

The homemade wine was decent, ended up buying a couple bottles to take home. Lamb and potatoes under the peka were pretty good too.

The peka was pretty good—meat came out tender and well-seasoned. Sitting in the garden made it feel more special than the usual dinner spot. Decent choice if you're in Stari Grad.

The tuna burger was actually really good—juicy, not overcooked. Place has a nice old town vibe, easy to relax in. Service didn't hover, which I appreciated. Solid pick if you're nearby.

The pappardelle with pulled lamb was spot on, paired nicely with a glass of red. Tuna was just okay though.

The waiter pushed the fresh calamari over the meat and honestly, that was the right call. Portion was big enough to share and still leave full. Price matched what we got, no complaints there. Place is a bit off the main strip so it wasn't packed with tourists. Would go back just for that dish again.

Dough was soft and light, not heavy at all. Tried the margherita as a baseline—pretty solid choice. Decent spot if you're in the area.

We've been coming here for a while now, and the staff still remembers how we like our pizza. My wife's lactose intolerant, and they always do half without cheese, no drama. That consistency keeps us coming back. The crust was nice and crisp this time too. Just a solid, reliable spot for us.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in Split. Cevapi still as good as the first time - meat juicy, that soft bread they use just works. Place is basic, nothing fancy, but that's part of the charm. Near the port so easy to find. Price stayed reasonable too, which I appreciate.

The pizza and lasagna were solid, and the staff didn’t hover too much. Good spot to just hang out with friends without it being a whole thing. 🍕

The octopus salad was the real deal—fresh, tender, and plenty of it. Portions are generous, almost too much for one person. Staff were friendly without hovering. We sat by the window, sea view was a nice bonus. Place gets a bit busy around noon, but it's fine. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple and filling.
