Came for the view, ended up staying longer than planned. The mixed shellfish platter was fresh, nicely prepared. Staff knew their wine list well, opened a bottle we picked without fuss. Pretty good spot if you're in the area. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but the setting makes up for it.

The Jack Dory was so fresh, and I loved that they serve Skradin cokalica—never seen that tiny local fish anywhere else. Outdoor seating with misting fans was a nice touch for a hot day. Good spot to bring friends 👍

The pizza was solid, and I liked that they use fresh ingredients. The host even gave us a little rakija at the end. Prices felt fair for the portion.

Tucked off the main strip, so it’s quiet. The squid ink risotto was the standout — rich, briny, done right. Staff actually took a minute to walk us through the day’s catch. Slightly hidden, but that’s part of the charm.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Pizza was solid, crust had a nice chew. Place was packed, but we got our food fast. It's not the cheapest spot around, but you're paying for the location, right in the center. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want something reliable. Just don't expect a quiet, relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The waiter actually suggested the lamb peka and wow, that was the right call. Meat just fell off the bone. Place has that old-school charm, like it's been doing this forever. Only thing is it gets a bit loud when it's full, but honestly didn't care much.

Nice terrace right by the water, view was the best part. Sat there for a while just watching the boats go by. Good spot if you're in the area.

Nice spot right on the water. We shared the platter to start and it was plenty for two. There was some live music drifting over from nearby, which was a nice touch.

Found this place wandering around old town. The Kotlenka with monkfish was really good, nicely presented too. Beef cheeks were tender. Service was friendly but it did take a while to get our food.

The fish plate for two was pretty good, and the owner threw in some free drinks which was nice. Staff were friendly enough. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The Adriana platter for two hit the spot—grilled calamari and fresh fish with that good olive oil. A nice glass of white would've made it perfect.

Lovely little family place. Sat outside, nice and quiet. Grilled fish was fresh, bruschetta solid too. Staff friendly, no rush. Rustic but that's the vibe. Would come back.

The duck came out properly pink, sauce had that gamey kick you don't get everywhere. Open kitchen was whatever, I was there for the meat. That flavor alone makes me want to go back.

Tried the gregada for two. Big portion, rich flavor. Proper Croatian comfort food. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Only thing, the wait for the food was a bit long. But honestly, worth it. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Stopped by mostly because of the cute gift shop out front—ended up staying for lunch. Got the fresh salad and it was actually really good. Place is small and quiet, easy to miss from the street. Wish I remembered the name of the dish I ordered, but it had this nice light dressing. Would come back just for that.

We came with four kids and honestly expected chaos, but the staff handled everything so well. They even brought free treats for our picky eater. Really nice family spot.

The homemade apple juice was the highlight for me — freshly pressed, not too sweet, just right. I had it with one of their pastries, proper Dalmatian style, packed with nuts and fruit. Place felt calm, no rush. Wish I’d ordered two glasses honestly.

The patio had enough space between tables, which I appreciated. Mixed grill was decent—pork skewers were the best part, though some other pieces came out a bit dry. Staff got us seated fast without much fuss. Fine for a casual dinner outside, nothing more.

The grilled octopus was the standout — perfectly charred on the edges, tender inside. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place got busy around 8pm. Prices felt fair for the portion size. I'd come back for that dish alone.

Solid pasta. Prices fair for what you get. Way better than the tourist traps closer to the center. Had the truffle tagliatelle, pretty rich. Place was busy but we got a table quick. No complaints really.

The pistachio soufflé didn’t work for me, but the eggs Benedict and croque madame were solid. Coffee was decent, just a bit weak. Place was busy at brunch, service kept up fine. I’d go back for the Benedict, not the soufflé.

The parmigiana pizza had that soft, chewy Neapolitan crust I love, and it came out piping hot. The fish was really good too, honestly some of the best I had in Croatia 🍕

Service at Spalatin is always on point—friendly and they know their local wines. Tiramisu was solid too, one of the better ones I've had. Good spot for dinner in Split.

Came for the grilled octopus after a friend told me about it. Didn't disappoint. Tender, charred just right. Service was quick too, which I always appreciate. Got a small complimentary starter while waiting. Nice spot for a proper lunch break. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd grab it again.

Solid burger and fries. Big portions, price was right for the area. Staff ran after us with my sunglasses—good people. Came back the next night.

The shrimp cream soup and grilled chicken were solid. Fresh ingredients, well cooked. Portions are generous too. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a short wait if you come late. Fair price for what you get. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

The breakfast spread was decent—plenty to pick from, though the coffee machine let things down a bit. I stuck to a couple of glasses of their house white with the eggs, which worked better than expected. Terrace views are the real draw here. Staff tried, but you could tell they were stretched thin at moments. Fine for a relaxed morning, nothing more.

Been here a few times now. Tried the fish plate for two once, also pasta and pizza on other visits. All pretty solid. Waiters are the real highlight though, super friendly and make it easy to relax. Maybe not the most mind-blowing food in town, but consistent and decent.

The live guitar music really sets the vibe here. Pizza was solid too, came out quick. Nice little spot if you're in the area. 🎸
