TheForkUserThe service and food were wonderful. On a back street so didn’t have all the noise from the tourist area. A pleasant evening.
TheForkUserFabio knows wines and food. He is a lovely man. The other waiters are also excellent. The wines and food are amazing. We have been there at least 15 times and we willkeep coming back. Thank you
TheForkUserWe went for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised—everything was excellent. So, of course, we had to come back for dinner to try the famous "Fiorentina". What can we say? Amazing. The "pici all'aglione" were also delicious.
TheForkUserVery welcoming owner, we felt well looked after and he ensured that we enjoyed an excellent evening in this small, authentic restaurant. The food was perfectly prepared with real dedication, the ingredients sourced locally, and was a pleasure to eat. The selection of wines available is wide and well worth a close look.
TheForkUserThe food is delicious with a very good range of choices, I had black pork with plums and my partner ate beef rib and roasties. Grilled vegetables were well seasoned and the quality of the meat showed. We were early diners so very little atmosphere to start but other diners quickly appeared to join us. A group of guys, some of them family working hard to make a success. I always think when the owner is on the premises, it is a good sign of confidence in their restaurant.
TheForkUserFantastic pizza (sfizioza and curiosa, the ones I tried), saltimbocca siculo, and classic calzone also really tasty. Try the beer by the bottle (IPA and Belgian ale), exquisite. The tiramisu is also excellent. All in all, a great pizzeria with wood-fired oven; fast and dedicated service. Prices are also very convenient.
TheForkUserWe make sure that we visit this restaurant every time that we are in Florence. The food, wine and service are always exceptional
TheForkUserThe server Frederico was so kind and they made time for us even though we can in around closing time. The food was delicious too.
TheForkUserWe had this restaurant recommended to us by our wine tour guide of Tuscany. He advised the Florentine steak, which did not disappoint! Absolutely fantastic food and great service
TheForkUserThe food was simply delicious, interior well designed and the staff very professional. Portions could be a bit bigger as you’d definitely want to eat as much as you can of that pasta.
TheForkUserA genuine old style restaurant - tiny and intimate with an open kitchen. Expect to share the table and have a great time as you do it. Beware of the steak - it is very very good but also very very big!!!
TheForkUserLoved the Florentine Steak and Pizza.Service by all staff was amazing. Our 3 year old had a great time. Felt super cosy and a perfect dinner for husband’s birthday.Thank you
TheForkUserGood service, Great food, table a little too close to the other so it depends on the neighbor, could be a little noisy. Other all good.
TheForkUserI found this little restaurant on Google maps due to the location to the train station where a friend was meeting us. Our dinner was very good! I got the Bruschette and my wife got a cheese, walnut and honey appetizer. Both were excellent. My second course was a wonderful pasta dish in a parmesan bowl. So good! My wife got a veal chop that was a bit overcooked but that was their only blemish. Got a traditional Tuscan dessert. Wine was exceptional. It can get loud if a group of 6 or more sits, making it difficult to hear conversation but our overall experience was very good!
TheForkUserWent to an1 Michelin star in Venice….this news easily 10x better. Highly highly recommend. Excellent food menu and wine selection. Thinking of canceling our other reservations to go back. Risotto w/ duck and pork belly the best,
TheForkUserA lovely intimate restaurant in the hills of Tuscany. The service was excellent and so was the food. We also enjoyed views of San Gimignano from the grounds.
