TheForkUserWe had dinner on a Monday night so it was understandably very quiet with only a few other diners but we enjoyed our dinners and the chocolate dessert was especially delicious. Could not speak to the views, as it was dark outside, but the woman who served us was very nice and attentive. If you are coming from the south on Via di Santa Caterina, know that this road/walkway alongside the restaurant is closed for construction (at least when we went in late March 2024) and you’ll need to walk all the way around the small village (about 5 min walk) to get to the restaurant entrance. So just be prepared for that or plan to come from the north on Via di Santa Caterina.
TheForkUserWe are a family of 5, staying not far from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. This was recommended by our hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was delicious. We were able to sit outside and celebrate my husbands birthday. Grazie
TheForkUserBeautiful setting. Delicious Food. Special Evening. My family and I enjoyed a lovely meal; charcuterie board, pasta with truffles, rabbit and florentine chicken. Everyone was full and happy.
TheForkUserThe location is really nice, elegant and relaxing. The pasta was a bit to al dente but the two chef’s recommendations for the day were very particular and tasty. Would recommend even though it’s a bit expensive, understandable since it is the restaurant of a pretty nice hotel.
TheForkUserThe best thing about Maremma Pig is the pizza, they are all very good! The service is fast but average quality and unfortunately inside the exhaust does not work properly so you can smell the fry and it sticks to your clothes.
TheForkUserWe enjoyed every second! The food, the service and the beautiful garden amazing! And maybe a wierd compliment but by far the cleanest and biggest bathroom in Italy :).
_TI***b8The atmosphere is vibrant and perfect for a night out. The cocktails are exclusive, and the music creates a great ambiance for dining.
TheForkUserExcellent food and great service. Even had off the card items for our daughter like pasta but also schnitzel. Amazing sunset as extra bonus
TheForkUserIt was our first time in Livorno and first ( but not last) at the Osteria Red. We were looking for the place to have an authentic cacciuco, a famous seafood dish typical to Livorno. Our experience was beyond expectations! It is a family business, full of locals, friendly and attentive service and fantastic quality and taste of food, cacciuco especially! We have been impressed, and recommend it for visiting!
TheForkUserHad an excellent lunch. Really enjoyed everything, particularly the carbonara and the tagliolini with pistachio & sausage.
TheForkUserA real gem. Simple dishes made with out of this world super-fresh fish and seafood. If you love all things from the sea, cooked simply and to perfection, you will leave with a huge smile on your face. Sheer bliss. We will be back!
TheForkUserHad lunch at Des Arts for no other reason than it was there when we walked by at the right time. It was so good that we went back 2 days later for dinner and the owner remembered us and treated us like long lost friends. Terrific food, friendly attentive staff, lovely location, reasonably priced, and interesting/very tasty wine recommendations. All in all it was our favorite meal in Lucca
