Best pizza I've had around here, hands down. Crust was properly charred, toppings fresh. Staff didn't hover but checked in at the right moments. Been back three times already.

Stopped by the new Flamingo branch last week. Lamb sizzler was solid, came out hot and tender. Had a glass of their house red with it, decent enough pairing for the spice. Service was friendly without hovering. Place was busy but we didn't feel rushed. Probably stick to this location over the original now.

Came here for a quick lunch and got the bibimbap. It came with salad, miso soup, and kimchi on the side, which was nice. Portion was decent for the price. Only thing is the lunch menu is pretty small, not a ton of choices. But if you're in the mood for bibimbap, this works. 😊

The tasting menu let me try a bunch of different things, and they handled my allergen stuff without making it awkward. Nice to get the full experience despite the restrictions.

Gluten-free base was actually decent, held up fine with the toppings. My partner's celiac and didn't have issues. Good to find that option here.

The owners really know how to make you feel at home. They even brought out a cake with music for our birthday — such a sweet touch. Warm service all the way. 🎂

The grilled octopus was the only thing I cared about here. Cooked properly, soft inside, slight char outside. That lemon-olive oil thing on top worked. Didn't need the wine list or the chatty staff. Just the octopus and some bread to soak up the juice. Portion could be bigger though.

This bar has a great selection of games, including neon-lit pool tables and darts, making it a fun spot for friends or couples to hang out.

The view really does all the heavy lifting here. Cocktails were solid but the food felt overpriced for what it was. Better for a beach drink than a proper meal.

The wagyu beef really stole the show—great grill flavor and quality meat. Cocktails with an Asian twist were a nice touch too. Service was friendly and quick.

Buffet lunch had decent spread. Butter chicken was actually good, salads fresh. Wish they had some dessert though, felt a bit incomplete for what you pay. Place was quiet when I went, fine for a quick bite.

The salmon bowl was good but the portion felt small for 18€. Nice spot inside the Scandic Hub though.

No. 7 of Bars in Helsinki

Decent spot right by the Itäkeskus metro. Tom yum soup was pretty good, plenty of other options too. Fine for a quick meal.
