The staff knew their menu well and pointed me to a fresh kale salad with grilled chicken. Light dressing on the side, just how I like it. They also mentioned a non-alcoholic drink that paired nicely. Ingredients tasted clean and not overly processed. Place was a bit busy but the food came out fast enough.

Loved the joulutorttu. Flaky, not too sweet, just right. Place is busy and loud, but I only care about the pastry anyway.

The cinnamon bun was soft and nicely spiced, not too sweet. Filter coffee refills kept me warm on a cold afternoon. Simple and reliable spot.

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner and the three courses were pretty good. I finished everything on my plate, which doesn’t happen too often. Service was polite, just a bit slow. Probably because it was busy that night. Decent spot for a proper meal.

Been coming here for years, portions are still huge and the staff remembers us. Great spot for hanging out with friends 😊

Came here for the lunch buffet and honestly it’s a solid deal for the city center. Sushi and sashimi were fresh enough, dumplings decent. My vegetarian friend had plenty to pick from too, which was nice. Price felt fair for what you get. Place gets busy around noon, so come a bit early if you can.

Waiter told us upfront the mains would take a while and suggested starters. Good call. Cheeseburger and sweet potato chips were solid. Soft shell tacos too. Service was efficient, no complaints. Place was busy but we weren't rushed. Fine for a casual dinner.

The steak was really good, cooked just the way I asked. Service was friendly enough, though the waitress did seem a bit rushed when we needed her. It's not cheap, but I felt the quality justified the price. I'd come back for that steak alone.

Stopped by for a quick dinner with a friend and honestly the pasta hit the spot 🍝 Place is small but cozy, staff was super friendly, even chatted with us a bit. Felt like one of those local spots you'd wanna come back to. Only thing is it got a little busy later, but that's kinda a good sign I guess.

The levain toast with kana-Caesar was really tasty. I liked how fresh the greens were, not wilted at all. Price is a bit steep, but the quality of the ingredients shows. I'd come back for that toast alone.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The place has that proper old-school pub feel, nothing fancy, just comfortable. TV had sports on, which was fine by me. Prices are fair too, not trying to rip you off like some places in the area. Good spot if you just want to relax without any fuss.

The sushi was really fresh and nicely presented. Place felt clean and tidy, though the seating area is a bit compact. Good spot if you're in Helsinki and craving sushi.

The smoked salmon pie was decent—good flaky pastry, filling not too heavy. Coffee came out fast and strong. Shared tables are basic but fine if you're with a group. Service was efficient, no fuss. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area and need a quick bite.

Chilli burger had a proper kick, meat quality decent for the price. Terrace is the main draw—good for summer evenings. Got busy around 7, noise level went up but still manageable. Service was quick enough, no complaints there. Fine if you're after a casual bite without fuss.

The house ravioli alone is worth the trip out of the center. Honestly one of the better pasta dishes I've had lately. Cozy little spot.

The staff remembers me every time I come back. That keeps me coming here even though the menu hasn't changed much. Solid place.

Decent lunch spot. The set menu is around 10-13 euros and comes with a salad bar and dessert, which is fair for the price. Portions were generous, staff friendly enough. Nothing fancy, but it does the job for a casual meal. Maybe slightly busy at noon, but fine.

The blini was spot on, and the wine pairing worked really well with it. Salad came with slightly burnt bread, but honestly didn't bother me much.
