Lovely afternoon tea, and the staff were so friendly. They even gave us some cakes to take home for later!

The lentil and vegetable soup was the highlight for me. You could really taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the broth was light and clean. The egg sandwich was nice, but the soup is the reason I'd go back. Just a simple, wholesome lunch.

Cakes, scones, the lot - all really tasty. But the portion for the price? That's what got me. The afternoon tea set was a decent size for two, didn't feel short-changed. Solid value.

The Stilton and broccoli soup is reliably good. Had it with a large cheese scone for a quick lunch. Solid, filling option.

The brie and cranberry panini is a solid choice, always good. Their butternut squash soup is a proper winter warmer. Staff are friendly and quick.

The karak tea is rich and full of flavour. It was made just right, the best I've had in ages. A very comfortable spot to sit and enjoy it.
