TheForkUserI have been a regular visitor to Englishes for many years, it is my favourite place to eat in Brighton, when I visit from London. On this occasion I brought a friend to celebrate her 60th birthday. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious as is their house champagne! It was relatively quiet inside the restaurant as the majority of the customers were sitting outside. The service was excellent.
TheForkUserSimply the very best food and service. Always eat here when visiting Eastbourne. Such fresh ingredients and cooked before your very eyes. Can’t recommend enough
TheForkUserThis is the third time of coming here for a special occasion and it never fails. The best steak we have ever eaten. Service attentive by polite friendly staff.
Sally SwiftOur First meal here for nearly 3 years to celebrate our Anniversary was greeted by Ash who remembered us from our last visit Beautiful meal complements to the chef Shall be back
TheForkUserfood was amazing and priced reasonably presentation was good portion sizes are a good size.. waiter was very helpful and happy to explain the dishes service was prompt. don't judge the food by the tired outside . would highly recommend this place for authentic and quality food

_TI***daJess provided fabulous service, and the classic pub food was delightful. The views from the restaurant added to the overall experience.
TheForkUserWith friends we always end our trip to the Cinema with a meal at Toby’s. There’s no other way of finishing off a great time at the pictures than with a fab roast from Tobys
_TI***guI highly recommend trying the ribeye; it was tender and flavorful. The overall dining experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to return.
_TI***ouEvery visit to The Arkle Manor is a delight, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff like Jenna. The ambiance is charming, and the food never disappoints.

TheForkUserDelicious food, pleasant environment, very friendly and helpful staff, free car parking in front of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
_TI***nxI had a fantastic Sunday roast here! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff, especially Eoin, were incredibly helpful. Will definitely return for another meal!
TheForkUserService was good. It was a long queue to be served but the chef was very quick and efficient. The waitress was good so was the food. Only the lady at reception could have done with a bit smile.
TheForkUserAlways very friendly staff, nothing ever too much bother. We always bring the dog and they always have treats in a cup on the table and a bowl of water ready for him.
TheForkUserThere were six of us family members .It was all perfect. The lady who served us was wonderful - jolly and attentive. The food, as usual, was brilliant, Thank you so much.
TheForkUser7 of us had dinner while visiting Eastbourne to watch my son in the Easter Panto. We preordered our food and had fantastic in person service at the restaurant. The food was deliscious, I highly recommend the crab cakes to start! All 7 of us agreed we would return if in Eastbourne again!
_TI***dlThis restaurant offers great value for money. The staff were professional and engaging, and the food was amazing, making it a perfect spot for family outings.

_TI***47The atmosphere at Zari is perfect for a relaxed meal out, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome throughout your visit.
TheForkUserI took a friend to the Toby Carvery in Redhill for the first time. While we were waiting to be given a table, the first thing we heard was a lady behind the bar angrily shouting at the restaurant staff: "What's the point of me being behind the bar and training you if you don't let me train? I might as well go home." This was very unprofessional and not a little embarrassing for us to hear. My friend was not impressed. However, once seated, the carvery food was great. Special mention to our waitress, Alex, who was lovely: very friendly and chatty. We wish you well, Alex - you'll go far!!
TheForkUserMy friend and I had just completed a 10 mile walk in 3 hours so it was great to receive a warm welcome on entering and the offer of pre- lunch drinks which were quickly produced. We were well looked after throughout our lunch by Steph who was polite, friendly and efficient. The food itself was very good (we both had the Sea Bass in a Pea and Pancetta veloute). First time visit but certainly not the last.
TheForkUserWe have worked together, some of us still do. It was nice to get together and have a chat without worrying about what we have to do next. The atmosphere is always great at The Crown, the food superb and the staff really good. Our waitress, Lisa, looked after us.
_TI***uwThe food was simply awesome, especially the porterhouse steak. It's worth the price for such quality!
TheForkUserWe have had many meals at the Smuggiers Rest Peacehaven in the past for different occasions as it is quite close to home, We booked this our 28th wedding anniversary at short notice, And had another very enjoyable meal looked after by a very attentive waiter called Addison which made it all very pleasant meal/evening,
TheForkUserAbsolutely love this restaurant, really lovely food. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Brilliant place to go for a leisurely lunch/dinner.
TheForkUserMy friend and I enjoyed a lovely carvery today. We received a lovely welcoming and a fast service. I didn't catch his name but the man that welcomed us and sat us at our table was really polite. Great food, great price and brilliant service. Thank you
