We enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch at Panatella on a beautiful Spring day. Service was excellent and so helpful as one diner required guidance for gluten free options. It genuinely was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy … my soft egg entree was perfectly seasoned and silky smooth - the beef cheek with carrot puree secondi .. melt in the mouth, tasty and a perfect balance with its accompanying bitter chicory side.Dessert - decadent and chocolatey. With a backdrop of Umbrian rolling hills and Orvieto in the distance - it’s a lovely day trip to an authentic hilltop town. We’ll be back often to sample the rest of the menu!

Very good restaurant, with terrace and good food. Service very nice and friendly. Suggested

Their house wine is a solid choice! We got a bottle to share with the group and it went perfectly with the pizzas. The beer they brew is nice too, a good selection for a casual catch-up.

We went for lunch on our anniversary. The greeting was friendly and welcoming. The setting pretty spectacular with a 360 degree view of the countryside. You can even glimpse Orvieto in the distance. The food was a mixed bag. Very good salami and cheese plate. Excellent pasta with pistacchio and pancetta ( bacon). And a very nice unexpected dolce -a deconstructed Mille feuille with pastry cream and flaky pastry. However, the pasta with truffles had no taste of truffles though they were obviously there, and the tagliata steak was tough. Disappointing. Good coffee and friendly service made it a pleasant meal. But not worth a journey

Delicious food in a lovely setting; we sat in the garden near the ancient clock tower on a summer’s evening. It is great that you can have just 1 course - we shared the antipasti, a wonderful selection of local produce with fabulous bread followed by the cannelloni which was superb. Can’t wait to return!

My family and I were visiting Perugia from Texas and we heard great things from many locals about Il Goloso Bistrot, so we had to visit. Upon arriving we were greeted by Valentina right away and she made us feel at home. We visited on a Thursday, which turned out to be pizza night. Valentina set us up at a nice table in their very warm and inviting dining area. Valentina and the staff served us an amazing variety of pizzas and beer--our favorite was the Margarita (it is hard to beat a classic), even though every option was similarly amazing. Overall, the service was amazing, the atmosphere was very comfortable and the food was spectacular. We highly recommend Il Goloso Bistrot to all.

Loved the super chilled vibe, friendly staff and good music. Also really appreciated how welcome they were to us travelling with two dogs (brought them water, and found us a nice table in the corner). Food was great too. Highly recommended.

Very good, professional and will really recommend. Food was exquisite, well presented and delicious and the service really excellent giving a very warm welcome.

Tucked away this great little restaurant didn’t disappoint - great service and exceptional food, inrushes, good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes - my main was the hot lamb - stunning

The aperitivo here is a solid choice. Good portions for the price, and the space itself has a nice, relaxed vibe. I like how the seating is spread out, not too cramped.

Found this spot while traveling. The food was solid, but what really stood out was the house red. It paired surprisingly well with the braised pork belly. A nice touch you don't expect. Prices are fair for the area.

Great place for families. The staff made us feel welcome even with our limited Italian. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the meal.

Loved the outdoor seating at this cafe. Plenty of space, and you get a full, unobstructed view of the Basilica. It's a great spot to just sit and watch the world go by for a while.

The spicy beef noodle soup hit the spot. It was exactly what I needed—that warm, comforting heat. For 5€, you really can't go wrong.

Their panettone is a highlight. I tried the pistachio one this time, and the texture was just right - not too dense, with a lovely hint of citrus. A real treat for the taste buds.

The sashimi had a limit on the all-you-can-eat, which was a bit of a bummer. Everything else was solid though!

This place is a classic. Walked by and had to grab a jam tart. It was still warm, with a really nice, buttery crust. The girls behind the counter were super friendly. A solid stop.
