Ristorante L’Olivo at Al Mahara

The restaurant is located in the most famous Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. The decoration is naturally impeccable, magnificent and majestic. It is surrounded by a circle of giant fish tanks, and schools of tropical fish swim around you. It is very pleasant to enjoy the delicious food while appreciating the fish.

The famous Burj Al Arab underwater restaurant in Dubai is a French seafood restaurant. The seafood cooking method is not so authentically French. The ingredients are good, but the creativity and cooking methods are not satisfactory. It feels that the freshness of the ingredients is not brought into play. The restaurant is particularly famous for its huge underwater aquarium view, but that's all. In addition to making reservations in advance, you also need to wear formal clothes. Suits are provided for men, but leather shoes must be brought by yourself. The waiters are basically Indonesian or Malay, and it is easier to communicate in language.

The restaurant in the Burj Al Arab serves Western food, and the average price per person is a few hundred dollars. The seafood there is pretty good, the grilled crab legs are delicious, and the French soup is also first-class.

Stayed at the Burj Al Arab, and had a lunch reservation for one day. But I had seen photos of the underwater restaurant posted by a friend before, so since I came to see it, I went down to have a simple quick lunch, and then went to have the lunch I had booked. The environment was completely different from what I thought. I thought there was water on all sides, but it turned out to be just a big fish tank in the middle. The food was served with amuse bouche, a cold soup, and I ordered a seafood soup, lobster risotto, and king crab legs with coconut rice. The taste of the food was OK, nothing good or bad. The shape and arrangement of the dishes were not creative, but the taste was very Chinese, such as the king crab dish was paired with coconut rice. The portion was very small, and the soup was on a shallow plate. It was really finished in three mouthfuls. The price was not cheap. The overall feeling was that the environment was ordinary, the decoration was rough, and the walls were all plastic-textured; the food was small in portion, the taste was ordinary, and the price was high; and all the diners were tourists, so I really don't recommend it at all.
