A group of 6 friends went to the Royal Hotel for lunch on Sunday. I did an MX trip and sat outside in the seclusion 2 weeks ago so was a little disappointed when half our table was in the sun. That said, the waiter came to us quickly, meal orders were taken and drinks were on the way. All our meals were good, the sausage and mash was a standout, the fish and chips was just a small portion with only a handful of chips and we all agreed the meal could have been served with a salad. Overall a pleasant lunch in a nice setting with good service.
