Longman & Eagle

It has been raining in Chicago for two days. It was still raining when we left the hotel this morning, but it was sunny when we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast. In big cities, there are many choices for everything you want to do, and restaurants are even more so. Newer and better ones will appear every once in a while. This morning we went to Longman & Eagle, which is on our "best list" for brunch. The food is really delicious and the service is attentive. ​

Went here for Sunday brunch and the food was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was very tasty and not too greasy. The bar was well stocked and the cocktail list had a good selection. The wait staff was very attentive.

One Michelin star. You can try the weekend brunch. There is always a queue. Don't go there during meal time. Last time I arrived at 9:30 in the morning and waited for 30 minutes. However, delicious food is always worth waiting for.

A traditional American breakfast, a little far from the city, but right near my hotel, just a short drive away. But the basic side dishes are French fries, which will definitely fill you up, and you can get refills of American coffee.
