The food in this restaurant tastes very good. The roast chicken is delicious, and the corn is also very tasty. I like the ribs very much. They have a standard American taste and are very comfortable.
We stopped here after a day of exploring tidepools. We were seated outside, but after ordering drinks decided to move inside due the wind and temp drop- they accommodated us without any issue. The food was really great
First of all, if you want an amazing La Jolla, you'll be here! We came for lunch and it did not disappoint! On a weekday afternoon, there was a 20 minute wait, but the service was amazing. The food was fresh and tasty, simple as that. We had a variety of sandwich options and they were just as amazing. The one downside is that every hour, depending on wind conditions, you might get a taste of a cute sea lion haha. But it's unavoidable and definitely not a reason to skip this place! I will be back!
My husband and I went for our 10 year anniversary dinner while on vacation in SanDiego and picked Duke's based off the view alone and everything from the seating to view to hostess to waitress was hands down amazing !!! I had the filet mignon and my husband couldn't remember both of the dinners being mouth watering! They also surprised us with a beautiful anniversary card and their signature hula pie which we both fell in love with! It was a huge slice but we had no problem devouring it. If we ever return to San Diego this will be a stop for a definite break and maybe a daytime lunch.
