Vegan katsu curry was my quick lunch pick. Good portion, came out fast. The curry flavour was spot-on, really hit the craving. The chocolate torte was decent too. Presentation was a bit simple, but for a quick bite it did the job.

Rob the landlord is lovely. It’s a proper local near Oxford Circus, and the cosy, worn-in feel keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years, it's my local. The wine list changes a lot, always find something new by the glass. The big cheese and meat board is a decent feed for the price. Staff know their stuff.

Been coming here for years, their fish and chips is the real deal. The batter is always perfectly crisp, and the fish inside is a proper, flaky piece. Chips are spot on too. It's just a solid, satisfying meal every time.

The gin tasting was really informative. I appreciated how Abbie explained the botanicals in each one. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully sourced. A nice way to spend an evening.

Solid pub, good drinks selection. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. Plenty of screens for the match but it wasn't too loud to chat. Decent spot.

Lovely casual spot. The food was spot on, and they had a nice selection of wines by the glass to go with it.

They let us bring our dog in, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were still so kind, even though the place was absolutely packed.

Mussels were fresh and well-seasoned, easily the best I've had. The rest of the meal was solid, though the haggis wasn't for me.

Came for the breakfast, had the vegan option. Honestly, the portion was huge, couldn't finish it all. For what you pay, you're definitely getting your money's worth. The food itself was good, solid pub grub.

The loaded chips were fresh, with good quality cheese and bacon. The Crofters Pie had a nice flaky crust and the filling was hearty. Portions were generous, felt like a proper meal.

Fish and chips spot on. The fish was perfect, crispy batter, not greasy at all. Mashed peas tasted fresh, like from a garden. Good portion.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are always fresh, and the outdoor spot by the lock is perfect for a pint. Moonwake's beer is a nice local touch. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when it's busy, but it's a reliable local spot.

The veggie curry was really tasty, and my mate's lamb dish looked great too. They've got a solid menu for everyone. Portions are decent, prices fair. Just a nice, straightforward meal.

Popped in for the Six Nations. Loads of big screens, easy to see from anywhere. Drinks were solid, just what you need. Pretty chill vibe for a rugby day.

Booked the Sunday roast. The portion was decent for the price, and they brought an extra jug of gravy which was a nice touch. Everything was cooked well. Felt like a good value lunch.

Booked ahead, glad we did. The ingredients in the salad were incredibly fresh, really made the dish.

Popped in for a late lunch. The staff were so kind, even added a little birthday touch to the dessert plate, which was a nice surprise. The steak was cooked just right, and their house red was a solid, robust pairing for it. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry.

The beer garden is a gem. It's this massive, leafy courtyard right in the middle of everything. Grabbed a cold lager and just watched the afternoon light filter through the plants. Really hit the spot on a warm day.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely, especially with its beautiful setting on the Thames at Henley. Perfect for a relaxing meal!

The cottage was lovely, but the wine list felt a bit limited for the setting.

The rooms were really spacious and spotless. Perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking. Felt like a proper cosy retreat without breaking the bank.

The full English breakfast was solid and reasonably priced. Staff were efficient and the place was spotless.

Just discovered this little pub tucked away in Friars Entry. The Alice in Wonderland theme is so fun and quirky, really makes the place. Had a chilled evening here with mates.

Tried their early dinner set menu. The spicy prawn and mussel pizzette was a standout – really fresh and the kick was just right. Portions were generous too, felt like a good deal for what you get.

Aqib was our server and he was great. Super friendly, knew the whole menu when we had questions. Service was quick and he just had a good vibe. Made the dinner feel really relaxed.

Loved the heated booths in the back garden. Perfect for a chilly evening, and just a short stroll from Victoria.

The sirloin steak was spot on! A bit chilly in the hotel atrium, but perfect for catching up with mates.

Popped in for a quick drink. The bartender crafted a lovely non-alcoholic spritz for my daughter, really thoughtful. Quiet spot, no blaring TVs. My old fashioned was a bit heavy on the bitters, but that’s just my taste.

Loved the open, airy feel of this pub. It’s modern but still cosy, and the light just hits right in the afternoon. Perfect spot to catch up with friends.
