The Chimneys

The vegetarian sunday dinner and the beef sunday dinner were excellent.Bit disappointed there was no cauliflower cheese avaiable at 6.30 pm and the Ham&cheese pie apparently lacked flavour. Portions were generous, desserts excellent and staff excellent. A few tweaks and the star rating would be higher.

Lovely and bright inside, there were 11 of us food was scrumptious and we were served quickly. Thanks for ensuring it was a lovely lunch.

We had a lovely meal for two, well recommended and served in our own time, not rushed. The service was excellent and the overall cleanliness perfect. Expectations versus, price spot on. We will be visiting again.

Recently refurbished and looked great. Serving staff were all great…especially Carole who was very attentive to our needs. The pork belly and chicken forestiere were very tasty… prices for a pub a little high but it was more pleasant than some noisy restaurants and the food was fabulous!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening and have booked our Christnas get together in December.
